How bad has the weather been in Cleveland lately? Well, the Tribe and Angels will be playing their three-game set in Milwaukee. Yes, when Milwaukee is your sanctuary from the elements, the weather in your town is not good. Cliff Lee makes his first rehab start early this week and could be back in a matter of days. On the other hand, Victor Martinez�s injury is something to worry about, and the Indians were robbed of an official win versus the Mariners over the weekend (thanks to Mike Hargrove�s stall tactics).

I was watching the White Sox game late last night on WGN. Jenks totally blew that game. Any loss for the White Sox, Twins, or Tigers should make us happy. This division will be a dogfight until October.

The bullpen will bring that ranking down. Well Roberto will if they continue to throw him out there every game...

I agree, he shouldn't be given so many roles with so many solid pitchers in our pen that equal him or better him.

However us being ranked #1 never gets old. ESPN had us in the top 3 for most of the first month of last season, so I'm not going crazy over this.

We deserved a decent ranking early in the year last year... it was the bullpen that let us down. Look at the run differential from last season, we scored 80 more than we allowed... usually that doesn't translate to a losing record.

If the pen performs even a little better this year we will be much improved. If they are solid we will be scary.

When you lose a combined 50+ one run games in two years, it's hard to win 90 games. So far this year we've been good at getting the job done.

Imo, this years team is much more solid and deserves the #1 over last years squad. If Cleveland could acquire a major, prime-time closer we could be #1 across the board. Someone like K-Rod, but that's just hopes and dreams.

I know it's early, but the Tribe leads the AL Central in runs scored, despite having played half the number of games as everyone else. If we get an average performance out of the bullpen, our offense will carry us to the playoffs IMO.

The Tribe have great pitching prospects in the farm system, why not try to convert some of them into relievers? It just can't be this hard to find good closers.
