Love how Freddie is hiring guys from all over and not just sticking to the practice of promoting guys you've worked with before. Frank Reich said a similar thing about building his staff:

What this is telling me about Freddie is that so far at least, he's running the team the same way he ran the offense last season: as a democracy where he values input from everyone. I said before that the thing I valued most in our coaching hire was openness to new ideas, so this is a tremendously positive sign for me.

Kind of weird that one concern many of us had about making Freddie HC was his ability to hire a good staff. Turns out to be a significant strength.

Seems that while many fans (including me), media, etc., didn't know about Freddie, an awful lot of very savvy football people did. And liked him.

That's a pretty comforting thought.

Does it really matter? Kitchens had no problem utilizing our TEs last year. All three of them scored touchdowns and Njoku had a bunch of big plays. I don't expect that to change.
