Freddie is a good dude who was in WAY over his head. Not really his fault.
He had to coach a team with a young QB, depleted offensive line, a locker room peppered with certified malcontents, and a freshly imported mega personality from NYC. It was bound to be rough. The lack of organization, structure and system sure put the capital letters in "WAY" over his head. But lots of other aspect screamed "not head coach material", like the "no game plan after the first drive" and the inability to instill discipline in his players.
