Game #1-Cleveland Browns vs Miami Dolphins-September 8th, 2013 1:00 p.m. EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
That's probably where they're stoutest actually, between Soliai, Starks, and Odrick (throw in Ellerbe behind them).

Starks rated near the bottom in the league in run defense efficiency according to PFF... Soliai was below average while Odrick was the only one who graded out well...

The problem for them is that they got rid of two LBs who performed better and played the run better (Dansby & Burnett) and replaced them with downgrades (Wheeler & Ellerbee)... So that will be interesting to watch...

23 hours and 7 minutes until kickoff boys. LETS OPEN THE YEAR WITH A WIN FOR ONCE!!!!!

I drove all the way up from Texas to watch the Browns finally get an opener victory. I will not be disappointed, I hope.

Brownies won their opener in 2004 against the Ravens, their last home opening victory. FYI.

But, then again, it does feel like never.

When was the last time the Browns were favored?

When was the last time the Browns were favored?
In an opener or in general?

I know they were favored last year against KC, because I won some money on that game. :chuckles:

They're favored against Miami today by 1.5 according to my mobile app(usually isn't updated quickly though).

Gonna be a nightmare around here about 1:30 or so when they're down two TD's and the offense looks like garbage.

Amen. I predict another soul-crushing loss where we question why we put so much time and effort into following the Browns afterwards... in other words, the usual after every home opener.

I hope you're talking about the dolphins, otherwise that's an incredibly brutal outlook that I'm glad I don't share about my football team.

Would be lying if I said I wasn't concerned due to Rubin being out and Gordon not playing.

Especially Rubin.

Don't really have a feeling, good or bad, on this one. A win would be huge with the guys we have out. Mingo hurts, but Rubin hurts more.

Eh, Billy Winn is as solid as they come. Our depth at DT will alleviate Rubin's absence.

I'm more nervous than anything right now. I just want them to play a good game, win or lose. No more soul crushing losses :chuckles:

The Muni Lot is closed, not just for cars but people too.
