I bet you enjoy Houston Rockets games too.Personally, I enjoy the physical games like that. Thought the refs let them get rough at the rim most of the night.
I thought the same thing
No if it was a foul it would have been a loose ball foul or a regular defensive foul and they would have shot FTs as it wasn't our first foul in the last two minutes.
And just looking at the play-by-play, it was a timeout.
Man Cody Zeller would honestly be perfect here. No real way to get him or any real reason for Charlotte to trade him, but that's the type of center we need. Passable offensive skill. Will make his FTs. A good defender in a variety of areas. Can switch decently, defend pick and rolls. Challenges at the rim.
Guys made an effort on defense most times.
But truth is Charlotte missed so many open shots in the 2nd half. Walker was horrible. Sometimes, defense just doesn't look natural.
And on offense, all Cavs shooters but Korver are inconsistent/streaky. Maybe LeBron is actually the 2nd best shooter right now. That's not very good, specially for an offense that still relies a lot on 3s.

In fairness, they hit a TON of contested jumpers in the first half .Didn't chart it like I did the Nets game but they were well over 50% on contested shots.
Cavs have have top 5 worst "luck" on contested shots all season per the numbers.
When IT gets in there, we will hopefully no longer see shots like the LBJ 3 at the end. James still has that mental block on end of game FTs, hence no drive.
Like Irving, IT removes that burden from James.
