This team has quick guards in Ridnour and Watson. Thus, only one thing needs to be said in that regard:

  • Stop dribble penetration
  • Stop dribble penetration
  • Stop dribble penetration

As for offense, how about we do the following:
  • Let LeBron actually look like LeBron (Especially in the 4th if it's close)
  • Keep pounding inside to Z (He's playing well and should be used accordingly)
  • Never put Jones, Snow and Gibson on the floor at the same time again.
  • Actually use Gibson
  • MORE AV
  • MORE AV
  • MORE AV
  • And don't fall in love with 3-BALL

At the end of the day, we should win this game, but those are the scariest games we play... Hopefully we blow this team out.. In which case, keep Larry Hughes off the floor to avoid him losing an eye as he dives for a loose ball in meaningless action..

And hopefully we see a fight while they play the NBA on NBC theme.. Cause there's just never enough of those !!! :chuckles:

LMAO! Nice preview Pip. Never short of entertainment. You are the "World Wide Leader In Sports Entertainment".

Not sure if Earl will play. He succumbed to a back injury against Milwaukee on Tuesday, so he may struggle to contribute. This means more Mike Wilks.

LeBron has the key matchup. Rashard Lewis can score some, but can go quiet. If LeBron can be consistent with his defensive effort, Rashard will just go with the flow and not overly involve himself. This team will just hustle. Not too many set plays, just Ridnour running around like a madman looking to free someone up. The y play the sorta offense Drew would thrive in. Z has a difficult matchup with Wilcox. Chris gets up and down the floor well, so dont be surprised to see Varejao used against him often.

LeBron wont face EXTREME DEFENSE this time round, so look for a breakout game of sorts.

Cavs take this comfortably.

This is a perfect opportunity to go with Drew early. Collison is a weak defender, and with Seattle's big man depth being poor, I wouldn't mind getting to their bench early.

We need some f'in apache in our step this one.

ok first off.^^^ Screw the Steelers go Browns Cleveland Rocks. PF should have a great night tonight. Split the minutes!!!

one of those games that we should be expecting an easy win! just hope ridnour doesn't light us up as all quick guards do... also seattle can still get very hot very fast from the 3 point line, and our guys have to stay disciplined and not try to match them 3-ball for 3-ball

Injury Report:

Earl Watson (lower back contusion) is a game-time decision. Danny Fortson (sore right knee), Ray Allen (talus bone contusion, right ankle) and Robert Swift (torn ACL) are out.

Seattle has decent outside shooting coupled with some quick guards so if Seattle's shots are falling its going to be a long night. Now our interior guys should be able to just outright dominate the pairing of Chris Wilcox and Collison inside.

Im going to guess they stick Lebron on Damien Wilkins on D and he goes off for like 20 points because whenever Lebron is matched up against some scrub swingman, that guy ends up looking like an all-star.

I'd be happy with any sort of win here

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Love the game thread, as always Pip!

I can just see Kemp handing over the trophy to LeBron after securing the Kemp Bowl!

It will be an emotional night for all...

The highlight will be Kemp's announcement of his comeback....... no that was made last year, and the year before that, and the year.......

This game will also double as a "Mike Wilks Appreciation Night".

We all appreciate the fact he is playing minutes for a team not called the Cavalier's. God bless him!

Washington hammering Miami. These are opportunities to get some games up on fellow contenders. Would much rather a home series with them come May / June!

Andreas Glyniadakis getting the start at center. #11 on #11

OMG VIOLET PALMER HAS A WHISLTE TONIGHT :eek:mg:
