Game #36 Cleveland Cavaliers (24-11) @ Utah Jazz (15-21) Saturday December 30th, 2017 [8:00 PM EST]

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Two points:

a) When was the last time the Cavs held a lead for more than like a quarter?
b) The lack of floor spacing/forced integration of TT is making things hard on Korver. That little deadly 2-man game between Frye and Korver is gone and now, without any additional threat on the perimeter, Korver can't shake anybody free for either a catch and shoot or a catch and pass.

We always seem to struggle in Utah. But that's usually with Gobert playing. We should blow this sorry team out.

Crowder made up for his dumb, dumb, dumb pass.

Ok our point of attack defense has been abysmal this quarter. Everyone is so damn easily getting by everyone.

Calderon has been hustling tonight, perhaps reward him with a shot.

Our turnovers again just got completely out of hand. You cannot turn the ball over 8 times a half and expect to EVER EVER EVER blow any team out ever.

They're not even forced turnovers. They're unforced errors. Cross court passes into traffic . Jumping off the ground before throwing a pass. Not throwing a confident enough pass and it just getting swiped mid air.

Our D was fine in the half court aside a couple possessions. But turnovers cause transition opportunities which is where our defense is weakest: we get scored on big time in transition because of a multitude of reasons. Even if it's not considerd a "fast break point", our D is so out whack it makes the half court possession so much easier for a team that has a good coach and system like Utah

If we protect the ball we should be fine in the 2nd half...if we turn it over 8 more times it's gonna be a battle all the way to the buzzer. Simple as that.

Also fuck Rubio for hitting threes out of nowhere. He's a bricklayer 98% of the games and teams leave him open all the time.

Outside Love, Green (doubt he'll stay on this pace) and LB - not sure where else the offense is coming from.

Can Crowder please show up a little more? The guy is really becoming a fat disappointment.

Not like he's missed a shot today. Just hasn't gotten the ball. He's been pretty solid defensively tonight as well. Bad turnover there but he got it back.

They gotta find him shots every night on a consistent basis if they want consistent offense from him.
