Game 4- 1st round Cavs @ Wizards

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I love pavs but his arch nemesis has always been mr. consistency. His shots arent dropping and he is making some awful decisions.

First sweep in Cavalier history.

Did what we needed to do. Win in 4 and get LeBron/Hughes/Z some rest.

Looking to the future we really need another guard. Pavs is best suited as a small forward or better yet a backup small forward on a championship team.

Point guard or 2 guard, we need someone quicker, smarter and more consistant.

Pavs is a little off right now, but nothing a good refreshing rest cant fix. He is best suited as a swingmen off the bench, but for now lets hope he could lift his game back where it was.

Nice to see Gibson play solid in some meaninful minutes. Varejao was a little out of it in this series.

Z and hughes picked it up big time in the 4th

a great win

Wasn't pretty once again but the Cavs able to get the job done. There's going to have to be better consistency and effort as they move on in the playoffs.

Z was huge tonight. Great to see him have a series like this one. Hopefully this is the beginning of the Cavs going to him more than they have much of the season.
LeBron big as usual and able to overcome a poor shooting start.

It worries me how there has been no offensive production off the bench. Looks like if it happens it's going to have to come from Gibson and Marshall--who should start getting regular minutes.

Bad series for both Sasha and Varejao. They have to play much better for the Cavs to continue to advance. I agree Sasha would be well suited to be a scorer off the bench at SF and SG.

I was impressed by Andray Blatche of the Wiz tonight. He was a player I wouldn't have minded seeing the Cavs get in the 2nd round in 2005 instead of Marty A. He did a solid job defensively on LeBron. He's the type of athletic F the Cavs could use. He's pretty versatile for a 6-11 F.

An ugly victory but a very sweet one.

I was getting ticked at Brown for not putting Varejao on Etan Thomas, but he stuck with Z and it all worked out. Sweeet. :woohoo:

I was hoping for Pavs to come out and play today, but hes really been at his best in the secondary break or with Lebron out. Neither of those things happened much today so he didn't really have much of a chance to have an impact. I wish he'd keep attacking the basket like he did earlier in the season, though I think hes gotten frustrated by lack of calls and getting just plain stuffed in there multiple times. He was the "lebron" of the bench, but from the guard spot and with Lebron and Larry playing way more minutes in the playoffs, Pavs is just not going to have as much of an impact. That doesn't excuse the bad plays though, but if we get 9-10 points from him a night like in games 1 and 2 I would be happy with that.
