Game 50 | Cavs (34 - 15) @ Washington (30 - 20) |February 6th, 2017 | 7:00pm EST

Holy shit that was a hell of a shot.

LeBron got a way with a travel on that layup......I almost think he missed it purposely because he knew he traveled.

Well played LeBron, well played.

Just realized @jking948 was at the game tonight. What a brilliant game to witness, man! :)
Best game I've ever been to!! Any sport, any team. Love had arguably his best game as a Cav, TT was a beast, LBJ with the game-tying circus shot and setting a career high in assists, Kyrie going good Kobe in OT, and snapping the Wizards seventeen game home winning streak. It was straight-up special.

In terms of stuff I noticed...

1) Kyrie was definitely limping around a bit. But when he was missing LBJ, RJ, TT, and Love kept going up to him and encouraging him. I'm not sure he has the OT he had on a team without as much trust.

2) TT and LeBron tell everyone where to go on defense. I think part of the problem with the LeBron-less lineups is that they are also absent TT. When we rested LBJ in the fourth quarter, TT stayed in, and we maintained the lead.

3) Judging by sideline and on-court chemistry, the rumor that LBJ wants Love gone for Melo is complete horseshoe. Nobody, not even RJ or Channing, were cheering as much when Love made great play tonight. The dude is here to stay.

4) Kay Felder is really slow making reads on both offense and defense. The veterans didn't stop pulling him aside during game breaks. He didn't cost us as much tonight, but the team just doesn't have a lot of trust in him, and it's for good reason.

5) Most Wizards fans are pretty cool and knowledgeable about basketball, at least the ones around us were. But there was a married couple behind us that kept chanting "MVP" when John Wall did something nice. And the dude kept saying how Love is a weak-ass player who wouldn't star on any non-LeBron team, Kyrie wouldn't start for twenty teams in the NBA, and LeBron "ain't" the best player in the NBA. When we won, I kindly looked behind me over at him, pointed at my white Kyrie jersey, and said: "John Wall was definitely the fourth best player on the court tonight. Congrats!"

Why was he limping?

Why was he limping?
Idk, it wasn't a bad limp, but his limited lateral quickness was absent and he wasn't able to turn as easily as usual in the air. He may have just been sore from the grind of the regular season. No excuse for the bad shooting night, but just some context.

Cold-blooded like Kyrie. Sheesh!

One of the most entertaining games of the year. Big contributions from LeBron, Love, Kyrie when it mattered, Korver and TT. Wizards played a really good game, but that's just not enough when the Cav's put it together like tonight.

I was watching the game at a bar with a buddy of mine who isn't a Cavs fan (most of them aren't) and when Kyrie had the ball in his hand dribbling around his spot, I just kept going "he's going to hit the Golden State shot. He's going to hit the Golden State shot." Today was a good day. What I love about Kyrie is that he can read when he has to take that shot and when he has to drive because he's being played so closely. Also, that friggen shot by LeBron... It looked like it was going to be so off. Definitely felt like I watched it in slow motion because my reaction was "(negatively)Fuccccck(elated)YESSSSSSS". It was one of my more bipolar moments. Good show.

Wow, that was a range of emotions for me. Initially thinking before tip Washington is trying to prove something and Cleveland proves things in April, May and June so the intensity factor was on the home team. Then to see it just go back to back like that, guys playing smart offense, tough defense on both sides.

I thought for sure Cleveland lost when LBJ blew that easy layup at the end of the 4th, then I was in complete shock when he hit that fade away 3 to tie. Next thing you know Washington comes out and scores the first 4 points of OT and I am like here we go again, but there was no quite. I found it very exciting that this team won in a highly contested game in OT without James. Goes to show this team is growing.

What the hell did James, Irving, Love and Thompson drink before the game? They combined for 116 points out of 140. Bonkers. Love played possessed, LBJ was determined, TT was balling and then the struggling Irving stops struggling when it mattered.

Hell of a game, in the grand scheme of things, it means nothing but it just felt good to win a game like that, to see multiple guys step up and all contribute.

Here's to hoping nothing bad came from this and Shump is going to be okay.

Also the Wizards are legit.

Had not seen them play this year.

Otto Porter really developed into a scary shooter.

Anthony! Bennet! Weeeeeeeee
