Marv Albert is annoying and says the same thing in every game.

Power forward LaMarcus Aldridge suffered a grade-one concussion early in the fourth quarter and did not accompany the team to Cleveland, instead checking into an Indianapolis hospital for observation. He is expected to rejoin the team in Cleveland before Thursday's game against the Cavaliers, but the team has listed him as doubtful to play.

Aldridge may not play.

Oden might play. He's questionable I think.

Shouldn't be too big of a factor, anyway. I don't see him playing more than 15 minutes.

Anyways, I like TNT's halftime show. Hearing Kenny & Chuck say things that don't make any sense can be entertaining.

And yes, Reggie can go to hell. His voice is annoying, and he hates us.

Hoping for Doug Collins,though.

In addition to Aldridge, another Portland starter (Nicolas Batum) is doubtful/questionable for Thursday:

Also, starting small forward Nicolas Batum suffered a sprained left ankle with 4:02 left in the game when he landed on the foot of Indiana's Danny Granger. Batum could not put pressure on the foot and had to be carried off the court and into the locker room by teammate Rudy Fernandez and athletic trainer Jay Jensen. X-Rays were negative and the team listed him as questionable for the Cavaliers game. However, as he iced his foot after the game in the locker room, Batum told me he doubted he could play Thursday.

What will be the fans reaction to Oden in town/playing? Being a foreigner, I'm out of touch with these trivial issues.

I don't think he'll get much attention. FWIW I am a Cleveland native.

I doubt much. Although he played a year at OSU, he's from Indiana originally, and played there for many more years than he did in Ohio.

No time for a layoff..Cavs have to play their A game tonite.

Blazers played last night. IMO it should be affecting their young legs and we need to come out strong.

I completely agree 100%.

I don't cheer/hope for injury (unless it's Paul Pierce). But, the Trailblazers will have to really step up their game tonight. Brandon Roy is going to have to have a break-out game. I think Aldridge needs to be careful, concussions can be really serious even after seemingly recovering. Same goes for Batum, get some rest big fella. I want to see the Portland Trailblazers resting up and functioning at a high level so they can beat the Lakers' asses again. (Just get well after tonight's game, ok?) :)

I don't necessarily think we would have needed the injuries to potentially make it "easier" for us. Considering we also have been dealing with injuries practically all season.

Blazers are playing their 4th game in 5 nights on the road, and may be without Aldridge and/or Batum. We should have no problem with this game as long as we take it seriously (and why wouldn't we when we're fighting for HCA?). The worst case scenario should be a close game heading into the 4th, with another 4th quarter of stepping it up defensively and pulling out a victory on our homecourt. Hopefully we pull away much earlier than that and get our starters some rest.

The Blazers are banged up. We need to put them down when they are down. We need to come out strong in the 1st quarter and hit them so hard with our defensive aggresion to the point that they dont know what hit them. Then maybe get LeBron and Mo some rest in the 4th.

We need to blow this team out,so Bron and Mo can get some rest. The last 5 or so games they've played 40 or more minutes. The more rest they get the better and the more energized they'll be for the postseason.

If Aldridge is out, we should have no problem.

I have noticed that even though we have been injured a lot this year, it seems like we get pretty lucky in terms of playing other teams when their better players are out. We played Utah without DWill once and without Boozer once, and now Portland. I know there are others times we got lucky that the other team had players out, too, just can't think of them.

Spurs with no Timmy or Manu,Suns with no Amare or Nash,ORL with no Jameer,ATl with no Josh Smith.
