Game 68 | Trailblazers @ Cavs | March 19th, 2009 | 8:00 PM (ET)

Can someone tell Brandon Roy to shave that horrible beard off his face. It looks like he is still having trouble growing facial hair.

^ I echo the previous sentiment and looks like we have our gay picture of the night:

Blake is also rocking the "Patchy Gold-Prospector" look. Not good. :wtf:

LeBron has had that jump-hook for three years, yet I've only seen it a few times. I don't know why he doesn't use it very often, because it is simply deadly. I guess he knew the Vanilla Gorilla was getting away with plenty of contact in the paint, as he always does, so 'Bron needed to dig out some of his hidden tricks.

I missed the third quarter, but I was very impressed with Joe Smith in the first half, and then our total effort in the fourth. LeBron was caught with his hand in the cookie jar at the end of regulation, but I was happy to see a few role players like Sasha step it up in crunch time.

Solid victory again tonight over a very game Trailblazers team at the end of a road trip. And Randolph called it... LBJ pulling some shots out of his hidden bag of tricks really was the difference down the stretch. It was nice to see us commit to getting our offense from within the paint after a terrible first quarter from the field. This game illustrated one of the many ways the Cavs can win. Even though it was a close game throughout, I really honestly was never that afraid we would lose, save for maybe the last 30 seconds of regulation when it was a little dicey. I can't believe we are 23-4 against the West.

I have to say...no matter how many points this team goes down at home, they always have an air of being in control. The Cavs control the tempo at home for the most part and just look so confident out there.

Did anyone notice how Brandon Roy flops?I must say it was Catfish-esque.

Yes, he's perfecting the Pierce flop early in his career. It's something Chauncey also perfected but it took him a few more years to get there. I'm gonna be real sick of Roy using that in the Finals next year against us... when we're headed for our 2nd straight title.

Sasha makes me wanna kill myself sometimes...wow he almost lost us that game rofl

Glad we put em away in OT though.
What game were you watching: Sasha was screwed by the refs right and left. He played tough D all night with that small ball D - that's why he had such a good +/-

I was really pleased by that too. Very happy with the improved offense in the 2nd half.

AWESOME game tonight, I'm so happy at the way we played tonight.

-solid D in the 2nd half
-LOVE when Z's shot falls, plus he was great in the post too
-Boobs going 50% from the field, leaves the bricks at home
-Joe Smith! Loved his movement today, I think this was his "breakout" game in terms of getting more minutes and integrating to the team
-LeBron being LeBron
-Varejao hustlin like a hustla
-ball movement, man movement

Despite 1st half offensive stagnation, we earned this win tonight. I'm not thinking of what came before or what lies ahead but tonight, I am very impressed.

Good ugly win..the Cavs settled for taking long jump shots in the first half..then started going inside..I thought they could have posted Z up in the low block more..

So, I was at the game, and two rows directly behind me were a group of Blazers fans. It's pretty annoying to away team have fans scream and cheer during a really close game. But, I kept my cool. Once that game was over, I turned around and told them, "You are now witnesses." One guy actually said "Yeah, LeBron's incredible."

Good times.

Thoughts from the game:
- LeBron....is there anything you can say to sum up how great he is. That floating kiss off the glass was a thing of beauty.
- Andy Vs hustle plays just make me like him more and more every time. It never gets old because he gets the Cavs so many more opportunities. Plus with him sticking the open Js...he is great at the 4.
- Boobie made some shots....YES!
- joe Smith looks like he is getting into the feel of things.
- 4th Q D was pretty solid besides some pick and roll things and was really solid in OT

I would agree with all of that. Even though LBJ showed his brilliance at the end of the game, it was Joe Smith that kept us alive during that gruesome first half, then Z who kept it going late in the game. And of course you had Andy doing his typical "wild thang" hustle. I really like the rotation of bigs right now.
