That's what we call a "get right" game. Now, can they carry it over to Indiana on Sunday?

Can't really take a lot from a Sixers game, but you won't lose many when playing defense without fouling and single digit turnovers. Biggest positive was the starters just played 30 minutes.

It was just against the Sixers but with the First half against Chicago and now this Game i see good solid steps in the right direction.

Finally they are playing with effort most of the time. And who would have thought.. the last 2 Games our Defense is back to Top 10 ... Maybe it IS mostly about effort after all.

We are not totally over the hump yet but i am really pleased to see the much increased Effort and the increased attention to detail(not fouling, low turnovers)

I can't remember who said it (Lenmy Wilkens maybe?) but often it's enough to annoy the shooter even if you can't block the shot (see K. Love vs Steph Game 7). Our defense has been willing to let the opposition have shooting practice most games. I expect that we won't be quite so cooperative come playoff time, and that's all effort and mindset.

I always remember a guy like Ben Wallace saying Defense in his mind is 100% Effort.. And boy was he right... He is 6'8 and stopped Shaq...
Anybody can try hard on defense no matter if he is athletic or how long,tall or heavey he is.
I am a 5'7 overweight unathletic guy. But i give everthing and play hard on defense and i can proudly say i am a good defender and nobody wants to play me.

Closing out, Hedging, aggresive Double Teaming, Help defense, trapping etc all come down to effort

I never doubted that we can at least play the same defense as last year. People panic way too quick. Now the guys just have to do it consistently
