Trade him for a long, scoring wing and find some bum on somebody’s roster that’s big and can defend. Or getting nothing on offense against good teams. You can find a backup to do what he does. We need another scorer with some length bad.

Jarrett Allen is not the equivalent of a backup bum.

He entered this game with the #1 defensive rating (basketballreference.com) in the entire NBA.

Any player capable of that isn’t on anyones bench.

Believing harder is not going to undo the Nets strategy of taking Mitchell away. This is what teams are going to do in the playoffs against us.

Cabs just played the top team in the NBA that is on fire right now, they scored 91 points in one half against the Bucks, a team the Cabs just beat, the Cabs have beat Boston twice this season and are tied for the second most wins in the NBA. Calling Allen a backup is just insulting to everyone. Jarrett Allen is a top 7 center in the NBA. You can't just throw out Bismack Biyombo and get the same kind of rim protection, switchability, and lob finishing. Allen is obviously key to the defense as our final backstop and one of the 10 or so most switchable bigs in the league. On offense, he gives us a huge vertical threat with a massive catch radius and consistent energy. Unless Luka Doncic or Devin Booker is coming back, you will struggle to find an equally valuable wing.

Okoro, Stevens, Love and Levert set us so far back we couldn't recover. We need a reliable shooter!!

Love was 3 of 4 (1 of 2 from deep) including two put backs off of other players' misses. He was +2 on the game.

We are winning games with defense which is due to Allen and Mobley. We can’t trade Allen because Mobley isn’t ready to play the 5, and trading Mobley now would be Stepien level nuts. We have to give this team time to develop.

We aren’t beating the better teams in the East in the playoffs with our current roster OR trading either Allen or Mobley for a wing. We are too inexperienced and our roster has too many weak players.

Expectations need to be realistic for this team. Top six seed is reasonable. Winning a playoff series would be very good but, depending on matchup, might be a tough ask.

We're one legit 3 pt shooter away from the near promised land. If that guy could of been Stevens, Okoro, Cedi or even Wade we'd be OK. But none of them can deliver on anything close to consistent. Nobody steps up when we need it the most, or rarely anyhow.

For the love of fuck please let that legit 3 point shooter be a small forward who can play average or better defense.

Mitchell was amazing in all of those games. The Nets just employed a strategy that takes him away: get the ball out of his hands into the shooters and watch them clank. That has nothing to do with the Nets win streak.

I’m not giving up either JA or Evan but Koby has to get creative and get us a front line scorer. This team is dead in water against teams like the Nets, Bucks, Philly and Boston without one.

They let him kick the ball out all night. Kicked it out to Okoro for about 3 straight clanks. When that happens enough, he's going to try taking bad shots instead. If I am the Nets, that's what I want him to do.

The Nets did a great job of funneling DM and DG to double teams where he had to kick it to the corner to guess who? Okoro, Stevens and Mobley. And we know the result of that strategy! Koby must get creative and a shooter at the wing spot.
