I think he’s an average coach with some faults/flaws that need to be improved over time.

The results and context of our playoff performances this year and possibly beyond will be the ultimate measuring sticks of how long he is our coach.

I have not denied that Neto has been awesome of late.

Stevens in defense was a big part of tonight’s run, but yet you’re igrnoung that with the Neto/JBB argument obsession

In any event, sell me on how you alot minutes for Mitchell. Garland, Rubio, AND Neto in a 48 minute game that takes into account defensive matchups as well.

I’m loving Nero’s contributions right now. I just don’t see a realistic every game spot for him if/when all three of Garland, Mitchell, and Rubio are healthy and playing

My entire point is that there needed to be a consistent role for him before Rubio came back. That’s how you ease a transition - Rubio slots into the same role. When all are healthy, Neto won’t be in the rotation.

Neto could have been helping this team win more games and have a true backup point guard. When Rubio comes back, there will likely be some awkward adjustments to “figure out”. JB will fuck up some rotations and lineups and we’ll shake our heads and say “he hasn’t had Rubio all year”.

Signing Neto was supposed to alleviate that. Hell, Koby said as much when they brought him in. That’s what culture does. That’s what organizational leadership does. It’s more than “play hard” and screaming at officials for 2 hours.

I think Stevens’ part in the run tonight was coincidental but I can watch again. Didn’t really make any plays besides the alley-ooo. Got dunked on almost immediately after checking in.
