The Cavs' starters were all between +18 and +25. Great job. When you catch the Wizards without Beal and Kuzma you can't let them off the hook. The Cavs came out hard in the first quarter and kept the pressure on, building a 20-point halftime lead. That's how to approach games like this - come out strong and keep piling on. Don't give them an opening.

The Cavs are no longer giving up 17-2 runs in the second or third quarters. They're executing well on offense and playing very good team defense. Obviously not having Beal, Kuzma, and Hachimura, who combined for 44 points in the first game between these teams, was huge. But the Cavs have learned they can't come out in a complacent frame of mind, no matter who is out for the opponent.

Nice to see Mitchell starting to get his scoring mojo back as he went 8-for-16 for 21 points while chipping in 6 rebounds and 5 assists. His groin looked fine on that catch-and-dunk on the lob from Garland on a fast break.

Hopefully these back-to-back wins at Indy and Washington will be the springboard to a strong finish going into the break.
