I was gonna start a thread about this, it could be marion (i would love to add marion becuz he could be our odom)...

Bill Russell. He wanna play against Celtics at the eastern conference finals.

Nah nah. How about celtics releasing Moore after the few games. Hmm

Lets just wait and pray

David Lee. ok ok its not gonna happen, but since we are in dreamland, might as well dare to dream.

Marcus Camby. :gap:

Probably someone like Drew Gooden.

Well, if you want surprises....

Rasheed
Gooden
Grant Hill (doubt it)
Marion

No way it's Boozer

I wouldn't say that. The fans all turned on Boozer since he said he would likely be gone at the end of the year. Milsap has played well, if not better than Boozer. They played without him for a better part of the season. It's Boozer guys, no other name would be worthy of a "surprise". The article said the Cavs would be interested, not that the player would. But if there is anything we know about our old buddy Carlos, he loves him some money.

Think about someone saying "surprise"- your not surprised when a crap team like the Kings release a guy like Gooden. That is why I say Boozer- he would shock people, and 'surprise' Cleveland, the enemy #1 is now here to save the da. The only other guys I think would be news worthy would be McDyess, the guy that took less money to stay with the Pistons, now wants out when he realized they suck

and it's not Marion because he is going to milk every paycheck from here till the end of his contract because he won't see another contract in the same ballpark as the one he has now

Could still be Rashweed

they say it is a more high profile name than joe, but that could be anybody..lol

I don't care how good Boozer is, getting him would bring on some awful karma to this team.

Don't do it Ferry.

people expect teams like the Kings to buy players out- there is nothing surprising about Gooden getting bought out

Gooden? :chuckles:

No way we would want him anyway, the articles mentioned we'd be interested...

I can see Marion as a possibility, and I'd welcome him with open arms. Sheed as well, but we have a better chance at seeing A.I bought out before Sheed...

Oh man, I'm gettin' a little excited now... I wonder who it could be? It's like trade deadline all over again.

I'm guessing Rasheed due to the (questionable?) rumors we've heard around here, and the fact that he and Ben are so close and could see him helping facilitate things.

Sea makes a good point though... Could be McDyess.
