I am never watching another Spacey film/project ever again. As a gay man that has come out recently, I am absolutely infuriated by his lame ass attempt to somehow tie his horrendous actions to being a homosexual. And if there are more victims, I hope they speak up loudly to put this creep away forever.

Yeah, he is done. He also said he was drunk. Just a scumbag who got lucky and never got caught. I'll never watch anything of his again also.

The last season was garbo IMO. At this point I didn't care about anything and the writing was really dumb.

Plus, I'm always bothered by how often they'd have real news people doing fake news on the show. Like doing a bit part in a comedy is fun, but turning these journalists into dramatic actors is so fucking lame. And it's worse when the same show/universe also create completely fake news channels for on-air reports in shitty green screen studios. Anybody else bothered by this shit?

At the end of season 1 & 2, I couldnt wait for more. I was dying to know how far Frank went, and how would it all catch up to him. Right now, I could give a rats ass.

Spacey being gay is slightly more shocking than when Barry Manilow came out recently, only slightly.

I am offended the media is allowing this deflection. Sad really. He is putting gay rights back by proving a false stereotype as correct that gay man = pedifile.

I respect your opinion but if a 14 year old boy gets raped by his teacher, Im nor crying about double standards like everyone else does. It's not the same situation.

I ask because the dementia is absolutely a difference maker for me. He is basically special needs now. Sad, but if just a recent thing, not much you can do, no need to call out.

I have a Autistic nephew. Last summer in camp he got in trouble. He is 16, known he was autistic. Some of the other boys, who were younger, dared my nephew to grab a girl in an inappropriate place. His autism is specific to impulse control and having a hard time figuring right from wrong at times. So he did it, got in trouble and kicked out of the camp.

My point? I think President Bush might be in that category, really just not able to control. But if the pattern goes back 30 years, then i will think differently.

Drug addiction, ability to achieve, etc have all been linked to this type of abuse, it really shouldnt be thought of like a high five just because they are male instead of female.

I have known old people to go off the reservation in this regard as well. It sucks when someone who has been a role model your whole life berates you or says super inappropriate things that are totally out of character. They can really hurt people with no ill will intended just because they are out of their minds.

As for Kevin Space. LA Confidential was always one of my favorite movies. He was really great in that and I thought it was his best performance as The Usual Suspects was great but very Mimicky M. Night style. Sorry to hear this about him. That kind of thing shouldn't be tolerate.

Interesting that Bryan Singer has been brought up. I just watched Apt Pupil about the kid who blackmails an old Nazi into telling him the real horrors of the Holocaust and basically awakens this murderous evil in both of them. Bryan Singer directed, but it is based on a Stephen King book. 2 elements are added that are not in the book.

The old man Murders a homeless guy in both. The homeless gut thinks the Teenager is having a pedophile relationship with the old man. The homeless guy is gay so he thinks he can get a couple bucks off the old man and ends up getting murdered. The murder happens but the relationship whole relationship thing is not as explicitly stated.

The other thing is that David Schwimmer is the guidance counselor in the Movie who gets killed in book by the kid once he threatens to expose that the kid knew the old man was a Nazi. In the Movie, the kid blackmails him and threatens him with a story where the counselor is molesting him unless he keeps it quiet. Something Singer made up out of whole cloth.

A teacher having sex with a 14 year old boy is not as bad as a teacher having sex with a 14 year girl? Abuse is abuse, regardless of gender. That's not PC, that's fact.
