Hue Jackson and Todd Haley Fired

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Honestly, I like him being more involved in the offense. Shit I would rather ditch Haley completely and just let Hue takeover again.

Hue is gone after the season regardless, along with everyone else. But Haley is driving me nuts and the offense has started flat every fucking game.

While I don't think Haley will wind up being the HC? At least one can argue he has experience/success that would garner him a look for the rest of the season.

Just give him a look, let him be a candidate in January and then make your move.

If anyone has earned the coaching job it is Greg... and I’d rather have Haley as the HC. But, in terms of performance, defense has looked bette relative to expectations than the offense.

If you’re giving it to Haley - which I think they should - it’s because he’s a candidate for a few teams next year and you want to see what he can do.

Like this literally happened to your franchise QB and you aren't going to say anything about it?

Fuck Hue Jackson. Coward.

He fucking stinks.

Like the no-call fumble in Oakland, though. This play doesn't matter. They scored against the Raiders and got down to the 3 today. No reason to walk away without a touchdown there. Should be fucking embarrassed. Anyone wasting energy on anything other than the coaches is crazy.

I really hope this young team is able to weather the storm and hold out for some good coaching.

Just awful that they have many of the pieces in place and continue to handcuff them with the same shitty coaching staff. Hopefully the culture in that locker room doesn’t turn toxic.

I don't know. Our defensive game-planning is always godawful. We just keep getting bailed out by turnovers.
You don't think Williams has anything to do with the turnovers? From what I've heard he has the defense spend a lot of time and focus on getting the ball out in practice, more than most teams. He lives and dies by the blitz. That definitely helps pressure quarterbacks into making more tough throws except when someone like Rivers thrives on beating those blitzes. Of course he gives up the whole middle of the field when they don't get there and it makes us susceptible to well called runs designed to counter his schemes.

I prefer an aggressive defense but Williams is a bridge too far. We have the horses to get good pressure with the front four and an occasional well timed blitz. I hate the safeties playing 25 yards deep.

I'd like to see Williams gone for the right guy but we've had worse than him.

If I failed at my job 93% of the time I would have been fired a long time ago. Don’t have to wait for the perfect candidate. The fix may just be getting his ass out of town!
