A source also told cleveland.com that former Browns defensive lineman Nick Eason, a coaching intern here in 2013, will be Horton's defensive line coach. He was assistant defensive line coach in Tennesee, and the Titans are trying to promote him to line coach to keep him from leaving.
That's heartwarming, but essentially choosing RG3 over Wentz looks like an awful decision as early as it may be.Pretty much sums up my thoughts:

Tell us more then if you have the scoop. From everything that's been reported, Hue was blown away by RG3's workout and felt confident enough to make him the starting quarterback. He was not as high on Wentz and clearly preferred Goff in the draft. Of course, the decision to bypass Wentz was not made strictly by Hue. However, the front office does highly value his opinion on the evaluation of quarterbacks, and RG3 was Hue's man. What am I missing here?If that were the decision, you have a good point, but that isn't what happened at all.

The Browns have publicly said they don't view him as a "top 20 NFL QB". Are you telling me you think they would have taken him given that evaluation if not for signing RG3?Tell us more then if you have the scoop. Yeah, but you have to be damn certain that Wentz won't be a top 20 quarterback if you're going to pass on him. Well, that was their evaluation, and it doesn't look too astute so far.You have to factor in the offer we got from the Eagles to give up the pick. It was a good offer. I don't know that I'd have taken it personally, but I can see the temptation.
