I can’t believe this, but my parents just surprised me with two tickets to the final four in Atlanta!!! To top that off, my editor found out and wants me to write an article on my personal experience, as an Ohio State fan!!!

If I could be there when OSU wins it all, I’ll freak. What a dream day this has become!!!

Go Bucks!!!

If it’s ok, I’d like to post that article on here as well.

Cool man, have a blast. Win or lose, I'm sure the experience will be incredible.

Watch out for the Jesuits.

Cavs1, how many tickets did OSU get for students? A couple of my Georgetown friends told me they got 1,000, which his a fair ammount considering the student body is around 12,000.

I don't know, I really didn't pay attention. They held a lottery for the students/faculty that had season tickets... I didn't get season tickets, I got screwed out of them.

Guys if you remember the "Prayers Needed" post I made a couple of weeks ago about how my uncle, Don, literally one of the nicest people on the planet; had severe cancer? Well we thought it would be a good idea to call him, and he was estatic. We could only talk for a minute or two because he's just so weak, but he said "It couldn't have happened to a nicer person. I'm tickled for you that you get to." I said good bye, hung up, and lost it.

Please keep him in your prayers. I'd trade 1,000 championships for him, anyday.

Hey guys, in Atlanta on my laptop. I thought you guys deserved to see what was going on down here.

The drive up was neat. I was so nervous and excited to get down there I had some trouble sleeping even though being dead tired from working to get ready to leave. I talked with some Vol fans in Knoxville about the game, and they were suprisingly supportive of the Bucks. Obviously, most people aren't down here yet, so the full atmosphere will be here tomorrow.

I got to watch the Bucks practice. I didn't get to until today, but if you've never seen Oden in person, it's a must. He's a full head above everyone, and his arms seem so long and outreaching he makes himself look 7'5. Butler, Lewis, Harris, and others were shooting lights out from 3 as well. It was really neat to watch them practice, and I also saw UCLA (Couldn't stay for Florida, I was just too disgusted). Btw, I love the Buckeyes, but UCLA cheerleaders take the cake hands down. :)

Just got back from the NBAC all-stars game. Acie Law didn't make it, and Aaron Brooks didn't play at all, so that was a let down. Justin Doellman from Xavier, who showed great range for a big man, and Torrell Martin of Winthrop who had 3 dunks and a very nice 360 lay-up, won MVP.

A lot of Bucks fans are coming down, and Go Bucks can be heard a lot now. However there are a majority of UF and UCLA fans here, but thats ok for now, since most people are coming down tomorrow.

We saw our seats today, and good Lord. They have the court on one endzone, not in the middle, and a huge stands built on midfield. Well our seats are at the other endzone in the nosebleeds, you can see everything still, but it's a long way away. People have said fans of the two teams that lose tomorrow may give up better seats, for the championship game could be better.

Until then, GO BUCKS!

I remember that feeling when I went to the OSU missagain game. In the west coast the game start much earlier, so the wait until the afternoon sucked.

When I walked into the plane, that waited 30 minutes for me and two others, everyone was wearing scarlet and grey. :chuckles:

Well, I was a frozen nervous wreck for the first 5 minutes as I suppose all of you were. The chant battles between OSU and G Town was fun to watch, and OSU won that one hands down. When Oden did that near dunk, it looked like he was in the air for about 5 seconds.

The UF fans, even when walking out after winning, were really classy. No dumb gator chomps just for the football game or anything. G Town fans, however, were pathetic. They proved their lack of respect, but UF fans changed my views on them.

I also can't stress enough the sexiness of not only the UCLA girls, (the ones in the tops, not the skirts. The tops are shorter!) but the dances they do. Very nice, very nice.

Florida fans outnumber OSU fans 2 to 1. This will be a home game for Florida, and we should be the underdogs easily. UF is just on another level. Big, strong, fast, smart, play as a team. These guys know how to play basketball.

In my mind, we have to do these things to even stay in the game.

1. Win the 3 point battle
2. Win the rebound battle.
3. Win the foul battle, including Oden, Hunter, and Twiggy. Oden needs to play 30+ minutes.
4. Don't let the fans give them momentum.

GO BUCKS. We have our hands full.

We have to know how to box people out, which is clear why UCLA got manhandled.
