Hey guys, in Atlanta on my laptop. I thought you guys deserved to see what was going on down here.
The drive up was neat. I was so nervous and excited to get down there I had some trouble sleeping even though being dead tired from working to get ready to leave. I talked with some Vol fans in Knoxville about the game, and they were suprisingly supportive of the Bucks. Obviously, most people aren't down here yet, so the full atmosphere will be here tomorrow.
I got to watch the Bucks practice. I didn't get to until today, but if you've never seen Oden in person, it's a must. He's a full head above everyone, and his arms seem so long and outreaching he makes himself look 7'5. Butler, Lewis, Harris, and others were shooting lights out from 3 as well. It was really neat to watch them practice, and I also saw UCLA (Couldn't stay for Florida, I was just too disgusted). Btw, I love the Buckeyes, but UCLA cheerleaders take the cake hands down.
Just got back from the NBAC all-stars game. Acie Law didn't make it, and Aaron Brooks didn't play at all, so that was a let down. Justin Doellman from Xavier, who showed great range for a big man, and Torrell Martin of Winthrop who had 3 dunks and a very nice 360 lay-up, won MVP.
A lot of Bucks fans are coming down, and Go Bucks can be heard a lot now. However there are a majority of UF and UCLA fans here, but thats ok for now, since most people are coming down tomorrow.
We saw our seats today, and good Lord. They have the court on one endzone, not in the middle, and a huge stands built on midfield. Well our seats are at the other endzone in the nosebleeds, you can see everything still, but it's a long way away. People have said fans of the two teams that lose tomorrow may give up better seats, for the championship game could be better.
Until then, GO BUCKS!
