Iman Shumpert: Gone! Thank God!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Shumpert continues to play great D.

Nice little all-around game too. 5p/4r/3a. Baptized "Iblocka"

Airballed that one three terribly, but overall had a solid game.

He's really been "Good Shump" ever since Lue benched him in game 1.

Yeah, I'll accept those two ugly shots if he is going to play with that kind of defensive energy off the bench. He has brought a solid focus during the playoffs.

DeRozan only getting 5 FTAs is a sign that Shump and JR were following the game plan.

Like seeing Shump playing well, but it's simply coming from effort. It's annoying as hell that a ROLE PLAYER like himself can't play with any effort in the regular season.

We got Good Shump today!

Which Shump will show up in Game 2? Find out next time on "Inconsistent Effort: An Iman Shumpert Story"!

To be fair, his effort has been there every minute hes been on the floor in the post-season.

Now, he was embarrassing at times with effort in the regular season. But he has been a great surprise since

If Shump.plays like this the entire postseason....then the summer will be fascinating.

I know everyone wants to trade him, and I did too, but if he proves to be a guy you can count on in the postseason, you better get somebody really really good in return.

It's good to see the locked in playoff version of Shump. I hope he sticks around until we get our next 11 wins in the bank.

I hope David Griffin isn't making long term evaluations based on what happened in the most recent game, assuming he's still employed by this team in the summer.

He has a respectable post-season, for the love god, trade him.

Shump has been paired with Korver and Frye, sometimes with the full bench squad. This is a symbiotic group because Shump fires up fewer bad fading threes and is more likely to drive and kick. He also steps up his defense to protect Frye. This is the vision Griff had when he signed Shump... let's see more of it rather than the lazy fouling hairball.

I think it depends on how he continues to play the rest of the post season, if he plays like he has the last couple of games and keeps it up through the finals, he would be a hard piece to trade unless we got a great deal. I agree it is frustrating he looks bad in the reg season, but if he performs like this why would you trade him?

I like playoffs shump because he does everything at 100% his mistakes are huge and his successes are huge

It's that new mushroom haircut.

His injury history.

He's just not a dependable guy in my opinion, and at a certain point his trade value will peak, which on a team with limited assets we need to take advantage of.
