His shot feels a bit off right now....I do wonder why we don't run plays for him attacking the rim, especially with Mitchell losing a step and Garland always getting blocked. Okoro is great driving, one day some other team is going to snag him and we'll watch the highlights week after week.
Would love for Mobley to do that. Wagner just pushed you out of bounds. Get in his face a little. Shouldn’t have to be your guardHe was definitely a tone setter. Super proud of him for professionally going right at Wagner to let em know that his shit wasn’t going to fly.
A well earned tech and we didn’t have to resort to bringing in a bench goon to lay a cheap shot.
Well, Mobley is still one of the best 3 players from his draft, so there’s no regrets there.Absolutely love everything this kid is about… Always have…
Was he drafted higher than his skillset ? Absolutely…. If we drafted Okoro with the 22nd pick in the draft most would consider him a steal…
He went top 5…. Not his fault….
Same with Mobley… If we drafted him 16th overall he’d be a steal…. Snagged him 3rd (with expectations)…
Something I didn't consider going into this series that clicked when I read some Magic forums. Defense. Magic fans are under the impression their defense is better and see the Cavs as a "top 11" team there. While their (regular season) defense may be better, they're underselling the Cavs potential and not accounting for that aspect as one of the primer calling cards of the team. Perhaps it's more fuel for the fire (JA saying they want to hold them to 85 for example) for the team as they're aware Orlando sees themselves as a defense-first squad.
