it's hilarious to see some people are buying that "addition by subtraction" crap, it is even sad to see that. You know what really this means in our the land ? it means Lebron chose not to play until the player he doesn't like gone. That's what really is other than that there's no addition by subtraction, math is simple.

Sorry, man, but did you see last night? Yeah, LeBron was more engaged... but last night was the first time the team wasn't CONSTANTLY scrambling on defense to make up for someone providing ZERO resistance.

But here's the thing about IT... even if he was 100% and playing like Boston IT, he still would have been such a liability on the other end that it really wouldn't have mattered. Kyrie had to ball the eff out offensively to make up for his defensive deficiencies, and IT is not only worse on that end, but his height isn't deterring anyone.

Or the fact that the dude was a total locker room cancer. Trashing the coach in the media, likely leaking stuff to the media, going after Kevin Love. It's very obvious that he was a problem.

it's so funny people taking Love's side on that. You just can't disappear during a game and go home! If you have a medical problem you get help in the locker room or go to hospital, you just don't go home without telling your teammates. And rest of the stuff is made up, nobody has any evidence of it.

and that's ok not to engage just to force the team for trade ? while you are getting your paycheck on time and talk to mics like "hey I am just a player, not the coach or gm"

what he did was unethical and if you are not willing to see it I don't know how to explain.

I see you joined in September. If you've been around these parts since then, you've seen me call out LeBron COUNTLESS times for his piss poor effort. Hell, I said he was literally throwing games, or at least trying to, multiple times. I absolutely don't condone it...

But IT was always a bad fit, and that was before he started throwing anyone and everyone under the bus. That's on the FO.

I registered recently but I am following this forum for a long time. I agree he was not a good fit but I believe we did not try good enough. when I say we I mean the king, the coach, the gm and the fans.

He does not have a personal problem with IT, he just does not like other players controlling the ball or being on spotlight. That's the reason Kyrie wanted out and there's not any star PG in that league would give up the ball to a SF all the time, that's why we got Hill because he's that type of guy but not a star PG

This could be forgivable if Lebron signs this summer but otherwise he would be the guy destroyed the foundation of the team.
Destroyed the foundation of the team?...we now have a better foundation in hill, hood, clarkson and nance

Doesn't it seem odd that in a league full of scoring point guards that Sacramento, Phoenix, Boston and Cleveland has given up on IT? No it's not a coincidence that all of these teams see little to no value to having an undersized, ball dominant, me first point guard whose scoring success has only coincided with team success when he on Boston for maybe two seasons.

Record wise we went 7-10 when he returned from the injury and while it would be unfair to put all the defensive and effort problems solely on him it's hard to not look and see how he was a rainy day for the locker room. If he was Boston IT maybe people would be more willing to overlook his comments but when you run your mouth too much and you suck on the court...

We will look different , but mainly because of Lebron.

Lebron didn't want to make IT work... Lebron is as toxic as IT, he is just more entitled to it. He simply didn't like him and he also didn't t think he was the answer against the Warriors so he decided to passively sabotage the relationship.

There is no way IT is as bad as we made him look despite his fatal flaws and injury. Our coach, our way of playing and Lebrons unwillingness to cooperate or share fame with another egotistical player that now can't even put his money where is mouth is and routinely throws the players and staff under the bus(which a lot of it was true but he had no business saying any of that)was the reason for the trade... not to mention that he just didn't feel like covering for IT on the defensive end was worth the effort and what he brings on the other end.

Now don't get me wrong, IT was terrible for us.

Nobody made him shoot 35% or be a traffic cone on define, except himself...

I was talking about Kyrie leaving and pointing Lebron as the reason. Kyrie would be a solid foundations for year to come along with Love in case Lebron leaves. Now if he leaves we would not have any top 20 player.

Destroyed the foundation of the team?...we now have a better foundation in hill, hood, clarkson and nance

I really can't see Kyrie sticking around here much longer if LeBron were to leave. Dude has never been totally comfortable here, and he's been (understandably) leery of the Cavs' front office given all it's instability.

it's hilarious how you ppl speak with such confidence and certainty as if you're privy to details you'd have to be either a fly on the wall or a member of LeBron's emotions like "Inside Out" to have access to
