Issac Okoro- comparisons

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Basement: Justise Winslow/Stanley Johnson
First floor: Tony Allen/Bruce Bowen/Bobby Phills (to throw a fan favorite in there)
Ceiling: Jimmy Butler/Jaylen Brown

If all the Cavs hit their ceiling, we have a starting 5 of:
Steve Nash/Jimmy Butler/Dirk Nowitzki/Kevin Garnett/Ralph Sampson with Pete Maravich, Ben Gordon & Joe Ingles off the bench.
Can't wait!

Bruce Bowen was a career 39/40% 3point shooter so hopefully Okoro gets somewhere near that. Honestly I always though Pat Bev was overrated defensively.. just talks a lot of shit and can be hella annoying but I think Okoro will be much better defensively.
In his prime Beverly was a lock down defender! Two years ago I saw him frustrate and shut down KD (held him to 16 points) so there’s nothing overrated about his defense!

Bev is a great defender but kind of a garbage player. I still remember when he took out Russ's knee in 2013

There really hasn't ever been a player with his type of bounce, defensive acumen, overall movement skills.

That may sound like hyperbole but usually high level defensive specialists dont have Okoro's size + athletic DNA. Butler is close but Okoro is a plus athlete compared to him.

Looks more like he is playing in the flow and just going instead of playing robotically. He has been out of sync with the offense.

Really liked how he pushed off the defensive play and made players chase him down the court. He's strong he has to force that on teams.

Needs to get better with offensive fouls, but that is ever young cutter.

Got into his shooting movement quickly. Fast decisions. Hasn't been looking like the youngest kid on the court like he had been.

Great game for him. Needs to be consistent with that. Shot looks good.

You guys have it all wrong. You know there's only one accurate comp...
