Can someone with cap space sign him this year to a multi-year, insured contract, shelf him for some or all of the season with the hopes he comes back to near 100% next year?
For example, sign him for a mil this year, with an escalating contract with performance incentives in future years.
On the flip side, would JWill want to lock into something like that, or swallow his pride, get to 100%, then prove himself next year and get an MLE...
