I take it that's his next job maybe.......or......?
Coming soon to a Twitter Feed Near You:
"Golden State Warriors to sign Jordan McRae"
Well he can take solace in the fact that he'll be doing exactly the same thing he'd be doing in the playoffs: nothing.I feel for him. I can't imagine gearing up for the playoffs only to get the message to come talk with the GM.
Ouch.
McCrea: Yeah Griff what is up
Griff: Yeah we are going to have to cut you I am sorry about this.
McCrea: Yeah I understand but wait is for that guy who tried to murder us?
Griff: Mmmmm Yeah, okay you can get you things at the front... Best of luck.
I do really wonder how that all plays out In real life now.
I feel like Lue and Griff will wish him luck and hopefully give him a list of things to work on. Then tell him to keep working on his game and if no one picks him up, that he will have a spot on the Cavs summer league. I bet the Charge will pick him up if he doesn't get a shot on a NBA team.
Feel bad for the guy. Like @-Akronite- said in his post, he was a part of the team that ended the drought and will always be a part of that legacy. Plus, he seemed like a decent dude, so it makes it tougher knowing he'll get the short end of the stick, especially when you compare him to the guy he couldn't beat out (Liggins) and the guy coming in (Bogut).
But at the end of the day, business is business. I really hope he ends up sticking with someone, but that seems unlikely given his defensive shortcomings.
Thread title should be changed to “The Final Day of Jordan McRae”
What really sucks is if he isn't waived today he can't play in the playoffs for any team.
