I'm not so sure. Watching the game I thought the Browns were on the receiving end of some favorable calls. Maybe we're so pathetic Goodell is ready to cut us some slack to raise this team to some borderline level of respectability, and that ain't happening without at least one viable pass catcher.

But if you ask the question "Why is Josh Gordon in Cleveland this week?" it's difficult to come up with an answer that doesn't include he and his team actively working towards his impending reinstatement.

EDIT: Difficult but not impossible. Sounds like he might be in town for court regarding a paternity situation.

I am sure he also has a scheduled meeting with the Browns FO as well within the next few days. To get reinstated he needs to figure out their plan for him and what he probably should do. He isn't going to get anywhere in this league without speaking to them of his plans and listening to what they wish to say.
