As a response to all the "Why is JR Smith still starting?" threads.
It's possible the Cavs have decided several weeks ago that JR Smith needs to be replaced, and that they want to look at the trade market to do it (which they seem to be doing now).
If that's the case - it doesn't make sense to bump Wade or Korver into the starting rotation, just to move them back out three weeks from now.
We've already had way too much turnover this year for a team trying to win it all - no need to mess up the backup rotations temporarily if you know somebody else will come in to start.
