Upper body looks good, work them legs next

Agreed... Dude has made gains.

I'm glad to see that he's willing to put on muscle mass and figured his desire to transform his body into a more lean muscle composition would take a few years.

Love has the talent and skill and shooting ability; we all know that. If he can come into next season with the strength and power needed to bang down low as well as defend the post; he might hit a new stride.

He's 29 (EDIT: He's 28, thanks @D-Wreck ), so he's in his prime with respect to the overlap of skill, experience and age. This should be interesting.

Hey now, he's only 28. Don't start adding years on :chuckle:

Ah! I thought he JUST turned 29 a few days ago.. Looks like he JUST turned 28 instead.. :chuckle:

Even better..!

p.s.
A stronger (TWolves) Kevin Love is not guardable by the likes of Klay Thompson, and Andre Iguodala on switches... he'd also likely be able to give Draymond Green a hard time - but - the Warriors will very likely put Green on LeBron out on the perimeter anyway.

Point being, Love should finally be that positive matchup for us against the Warriors that we had hoped for these past two years. We started to see signs of this late in the Finals, and now we've got another season to develop Love defensively AND ensure he's a viable offensive threat.

Yea, GSW did a lot of doubling during the finals when Love caught the ball in certain spots. Hopefully the added strength lets him be a bigger weapon on PnR and not just PnP.

Remember 2 weeks after the finals when some dude was complaining about Love's modeling, him being on vacation, and the lack of reports of him being in the gym :chuckle:

This was some of the muscle I was referring in the trade topic

Clearly it is possible. Very excited to see him on the floor.

Last season's Kevin Love was already a top-ten interior player in the NBA. A bulkier (read: not early career, fat Love) will be unstoppable inside and won't lost anything significant on defense. I don't know how the Warriors would guard that. They'd have to put Draymond on Love and Iggy on TT, leaving KD guarding LeBron. That's something we could really score against.

I think we'll easily score against ANY defense they can put together right now.

Of course, the same will be true of their offense (maybe).

The difference will be rebounding. And we will crush them in that area.

Cavs win.
