In all seriousness, think about this...

If Kevin Love were on the Warriors, he would be their 5th best player.

And we're RELYING on him to be our #2.

That tells you all you need to know about the gulf that exists between Golden State and the Cavs.
It take Iggy or Livingston over him at this point

It's been 3+ years and I STILL can't figure out/fathom how Kevin Love used to average 27 and 14 or whatever it was. It just seems impossible to me when I watch him out there.

He was fat, confident, had no real expectations and he came before every team adjusted to stretch 4s and small ball

I think not having expectations did wonders for him. He was perceived as being a better player than Kyrie before joining the cavs.

he's been troy murphy ever since he left minnesota

blow it all up

Kevin is an outdated version of what a stretch 4 should be. That is his problem. With his athletic limitations he should be the most physical guy on the team ala Zach Randolph. But no, he needs his skinny frame to model shit around.

I can't even call him a good role player because he doesn't even have a niche at this point. Decent shooter for position but far from automatic and streaky, terrible defender , no intangibles or impact and his rebounds are so empty

In no world is he a #2 option on a Championship team.
I'm torn on this. On one hand you're right. He's not a #2, but on the other hand he's actually playing really good basketball. He needs to be a #3 and needs a really good center next to him.

Put Embiid, Whiteside, etc next to Kevin Love and you'll get really great value out of him. Right now people are just expecting more out of him because of his contract and what he did in Minnesota. He's not that guy anymore, but he's still playing very well.

I really want Kevin to do well Because he seems like a really nice guy. He Ends some nights with around 20 and 10 and I just can’t understand how. He seems kinda invisible during the games. And I only seem to remember him missing a lot of shot attempts following a LeBron pass. He is a really productive player considering that he seems pretty small on the court and has athletic limitations. But just how athletically limited is Kevin? I’ve seen him explode off the three-point line a few times and it wows me. That happens every couple weeks. I still think confidence is an issue. I think being a role player is an issue. If he was the man and didn’t have to work alongside other ball-dominant players his numbers would inflate accordingly, I think. I’m rambling but I guess my point is Kevin Love needs to start playing better. He needs to assert himself. LeBron would respect him calling for the ball trying to put his stamp on the game.

Love seems like a nice guy and I've always liked that he didn't complain about being a third option, but he is not a reliable 2nd option and his inability to play both the 4 and 5 on either end makes him worthy of being moved. I'd package him for a rim protector and more. Shame but something HAS to happen.

It’s too bad Miami would never do business with us. Whiteside would be great here and love would give Miami that extra scoring punch and spacing they need.

What good would Whiteside do here? We would then be even worse offensively outside. Are we going to start giving Frye 25+ minutes a game to not clog the floor with our already atrocious outside shooting outside of Korver? Love is going nowhere unless we get a big back that can also stretch the floor.

What happen to playing Love at the top of the key and running some of the offense through him? It seem to work early in the season and they just went away from it when they moved him out from the center position. They have gone back to playing Love exactly the same as the past 3 season.
