* Remember they don't have anybody to guard LeBron now,Jeffries was the closest to any answer and he is out in New York,so LeBron should go off this game

* This is another test we have on the road, our last big road game was at San Antonio and we proved we can play. Let's prove it again

* Gooden should be our 2nd option with Hughes out, I don't see any way that Antawn Jamison can guard Gooden. Feed him the ball early so we can get him in a groove

* Defense, Defense, Defense...As much as the Wizards say they want to be a defensive team they give up 106 ppg at home. They may be 3-1 at home but we need to slow them down

* Contain Arenas again, no Hughes this game but look for Snow and Wesley to switch off guarding Gilbert

*This is our first time coming back into their arena after knocking them out of the playoffs...

What I am saying is we have bad blood with the Wiz and I think we really hate eachother. I know the Wizards fans hate us and we hate them so LETS GET IT ON!!!

I have a bad feeling about this game.....No Hughes to guard Arenas and I think he is going to go off on us plus we are on the back end of a back to back...so are they but still

Arenas is gonna kill us........and we are going to lose

....hopefully im wrong...i really want to win this game cause im really starting to hate the wizards


Drew needs to give us about 15-17 and LeBron needs to repeat a night like he had tonight and then our bench needs to keep up the production as well and we can win

Arenas was touched by the hand of the holy one...A HOOPS GOD..He froze, piss was running down his leg. (Z slipped in it *twice*) He became star struck by the greatness that was just in his presence...

This will be a test for sure. Both teams are on a back to back, and this one will be in Washington. No Hughes to guard Arenas out there means that we need to see LBJ step up the defense big time. Also, Arenas will probably bring his "revenge" game after being embarrassed on opening night. I don't think we have an answer for both Butler and Arenas at the same time defensively, so I'd expect to see some zone with high priority to prevent penetration down the middle. This will lead to lots of kick outs but I'll live with them taking jump shots. Hell, maybe David Wesley of all people will suprise me and play some solid D.

We are going to need to establish dominance up front. With Snow and Wesley starting there isn't much guard threat at all, and yeah, Z is going to have to pass out of double teams to an open Snow or Wesley. This could get ugly.

But if the Cavs keep it close till the end of the 4th, I like our chances.

Yeah i'm not terribly confident with this one. Snow will likely tag Arenas, so its not like we have Damon on him. Still though a tough task. Basically we just need to keep rebounding well, get some offense from both Drew and Z, LeBron be LeBron, and most importantly our bench must give us some production. They have been solid thus far, but with less strike power in the starting 5, it goes without saying that they step up.

Ilgauskas - Needs to forget his past performances against the Wizards and try and get some flow from last nights game. Continue rebounding and defending well.

Gooden - Dont let some ugly offensive games inhibit your confidense. Stay focussed on Jamison, otherwise he'll torch you. Go at Antawn, he is a weak defender.

LeBron - Has a tough matchup on Butler. He has given us some problems before, so he must stay focussed on defense.

Wesley - Force Stevenson to shoot from the perimeter. Just play within the offense and dont **** up.

Snow - Frustrate the **** out of Arenas all night. Stay in his pocket.

Jones - Make sure Coach doesn't tell you to guard Arenas. Just needs to continue mixing his offense up.

Sasha - Just needs to play his physical defense and continue to take your shots. He is our best shooter.

Marshall - Keep spreading the floor and continue boxing out.

Varejao - Will be needed to help Gooden take Jamison. I'm sure he'll get under his skin.

Yo George!!! PLEASE dont project your feelings of the OSU Mich game onto this game here. Yes, most know the Wolverines will be Shredded by the Mighty Buckeyes, but lets not drag the Cavs into it! :chuckles:

And how are people talking about Hate for the Wiz??? We met ONCE in the playoffs, and WON that series in dramatic fashion. I likee Gilbert Arenas too, no one player on that team do I really dislike.

I think we're going to be completely flat this game (so much going on with the OSU game and Army/Navy game, plus we're on top of the division), and with Hughes out, a lot of Washington's fire is going to be tempered. But I agree Arenas will take it seriously no matter what, I could see him going off for 40.
