L Cleveland 88 Charlotte 92

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
These are the type of games that we will look at the end of the season and wish we had back...this one game could affect our seed even though its just one game!

so did he either not put up good numbers last year (15 and 7) or were the cavs "CRAP" last year?

This makes no sense. The Cavs won in spite of the slug last year.

What part of that don't you understand? The cavs would have won with or without Ilgauskas. They probably would have won more if they had a mobile big body who could rebound.

The point is, all he does is put up numbers. He's the kind of player that can look solid in the box score while actually hurting his team.

2nd of a back to back, but we looked flat....bad when its the start of the season and we look that bad...LBJ just didnt look into it tonight...

poor game and it takes the shine off the first two....

morrison can play but he looks like a teen who watches too much p***

My first post just has to be about Z's turnovers in this horrible game!

F***ing pathetic. This kind of takes away from a great win last night.

Lazy half assed effort by many Cavs. No way this game should have been a loss.
At least it was nice to see Gooden hustling.

LeBron and Hughes shoot a combined 7-25. The 3 veteran G's (Snow, Jones & Wesley) combine for 7 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists but somehow Z is the one being ripped by many. Average to mediocre game at best for Z and some bad turnovers but to place total blame on him is bizarre to me.

Not sure what the Cavs were trying to do offensively much of the 2nd half. Too much standing around and launching, and missing, long jumpers.

I don't know how much longer Mike Brown can continue to give big minutes to all 3 of the vet G's who are giving virtually no production. No one can tell me that either S. Brown or Gibson don't deserve at least a chance and don't also have a good chance to produce more.

Very True..But i dont think jones should be considered a "veteran"

Jones has been around for many years,a vet is one who has been through it all and been in the league awhile.Veteran's don't get that name by how good they are because think about it, tony massenburg was a veteran.

You know it's bad when NARL is all worked up... :chuckles:

Narl just dropped an F-Bomb...

agreed...wesley is terrible, give his minutes to Brown...let the young lad give some energy...

we just looked lethargic out there....very ugly, almost as ugly as morrison :chuckles:

Mike Brown = Paul Silas when it comes to rookies. absolutely no trust to the rookies.

Trap game...

Felton is a bonafied Cav killer. Cleveland looks good early though.

Game mad me sick.. The Cavs thought they would glide through. They thought they were all big and bad after being the Spurs then come out playing like shit. Straight up crap. Although I don't really mind. Yeah it does suck but hey 2-1 is not that bad. Plus it's a wake up call. Expect a big win over the Hawks on Lebron James bobble head night.

The Cavs only played a quarter of good ball there. Its really a team fault here, not Z or Larry and Lebron shooting horribly or anything, just the whole team looked like it was in cruise control once they got a 10 point lead. At the half they were in great position, half the Bobcats rotation had 4 fouls, but the team came out flat. This is not the fault of a back to back, Charlotte had a back to back as well so both teams were playing with the same disadvantage there.

What I saw happen was the Cavs didn't really get into their offense, instead settling for perimeter stuff, and going 5-23 from the arc was really not helping. Our backup guards were notable here, going a combine 1-9. Free throws were still subpar at 69% and that definately hurt. Gooden did a good job though, the only guy I saw playing the whole game.

Some credit has to be given to the Bobcats D. I'm not sure what they were doing exactly, but they never let Lebron get into the flow of the game. He was basically denied the ball until the end there when Lebron forced things and tried to take over. But it was too little too late at that point.

It looked like we were plainly defeated at the end by the looks on LBJ's and Larry's faces. Sloppy basketball makes it hard to get W's.
