L Wizards 102 Cavaliers 94

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Re: Wizards @ Cavaliers

4 points and 2 rebounds in the second half pff

Re: Wizards @ Cavaliers

I am pissed. See my thread in Cavs talk. Unacceptable.

Re: Wizards @ Cavaliers

0-8 FGs
4-12 FTs

Re: Wizards @ Cavaliers

wow...way to blow that game. pathetic

Re: Wizards @ Cavaliers

I would pay 20 bux to erase this game from my memory...

Can't wait to get carved up by Detroit and go on a 1-4 slide in our first 5 games from the all-star break. Call me a weak fan if you will but I'm a realist.

Re: Wizards @ Cavaliers

someone please tell me pavs was injured. please, i saw most of the first half at bar and come home and see flip playing major minutes in the second. please tell me pavs is injured. otherwise brown is a jackass. flip is alright but in a tight game we go with flip at sg/point to finish.

i was going to post this before. marshall complained about playing time about 8 games ago and brown has played vets extensively for about that time. all of those games have been to tight no flow and no passion.

as far as i'm concerned the less varejao the less effort. brown is losing his mind with options for this team. he's never been there before and it's showing.

Re: Wizards @ Cavaliers

another thing is: i love the nba. cavs have had two bad second halves in a row and the schedule makers give us 7 in 10 days after the break. throw in a back to back with the team that was one quarter from winning two championships in a row. kinda interesting.

hopefully lebron and the cavs were looking forward to these games as statement games. otherwise it's nothing but a another streak (losing in this case).

bright side: detroit is in the middle of the same type of stretch. 7 in 10 or 7 in 9. difference is, they are good and we're wishy washy.

Re: Wizards @ Cavaliers

Any negative comment is 100% dead on tonight.

Is THIS the beginning of the famed second half disappearing act? It is hard to fathom missing FT's and turning the ball over like this, and not thinking 'choke".

It looks as though whenever they reach 10 over .500, they realize they're about ready to get over on top, and they tighten up and choke.

I'm sorry, but that's what it looks like to me. I owned and managed businesses my whole life, and I cannot relate to accepting such mediocrity, and being unable to get maximum effort from marginal players. Even Anderson appears low energy. It makes me ill.

Re: Wizards @ Cavaliers

moohead is pavs hurt or is brown/ferry pushing flip into this lineup?

Re: Wizards @ Cavaliers

Another bad lazy performance. The sad thing is that even with that the Cavs would have won this game if LeBron doesn't turn into Chris Dudley at the FT line.
Is LeBron's 2nd half performance from fatigue and Brown stupidly playing him all 48 minutes tonight or is it just a bad night for him in the 2nd half?

Flip Murray is looking even more like a very nice pickup with the Cavs collection of G's once again contributing nothing. Murray looked decent and is capable of big scoring nights once he gets more comfortable. I don't have a problem with him playing 24 minutes in his 1st game as a Cav. Sasha has disappeared for 2 straight games and Jones was once again invisble. Hopefully our offensively inept coaching staff will use Murray correctly and not just have him stand out at the 3 point line. He's not a spot up shooter from deep but is better at creating for himself and getting the ball off movement.

The past 2 games sure isn't a nice way to go into back to back with the Pistons. I can't see another late season collapse for the 3rd straight year but Cavs have to go out and prove they are a strong playoff teams to quiet any doubters.

G-Man,
Sasha wasn't hurt. He just played terrible at the start of the game and Butler was scoring easily on him. Brown just benched him.

Sasha better pick it up or he's going to blow his big chance. I've defended both Luke and Sasha in the past but it's becoming hard to do it anymore. At least one of them will be gone this summer.

Re: Wizards @ Cavaliers

but how can you put flip in with no practice in fourth quarter situations. that's pretty much kicking sasha in the nuts. way tooo much of a knee jerk reaction by brown. i didn't notice anybody else stopping butler. he's been on a hot streak for a month or so.

you make a trade and slowly mix that player in. brown shot his wad. jerked a young player around and blew his confidence. jones and flip are the same type of player. short shooters who follow guys around on the defensive end.

to me rotations are f-ed up. brown is in a situation he's never been in before and it's showing. he must be a flip fan.

one of the detroit games better be a statement game otherwise lebron and his ft shooting is going to be the beginning of "missing the playoffs III".

Re: Wizards @ Cavaliers

If Sasha had played more minutes Butler would have dropped 73 at the half at the tear he was on.

Re: Wizards @ Cavaliers

so isn't lebron the small forward. what position does butler play? small forward. hmmmmmmmm. blame sasha for covering lebron's azz. c'mon. butler has been hot vs. everybody in the league. we suck in the first and third quarter. what do we have is the new locker room. BEDS.

does brown wake them up from their naps? c'mon coach, can you go beyond the POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT SPEECHES. get some balls or lose your job. 1st and 3rd quarters are straight on brown. you can't come out and go 10 down every fricked game. PLEASE SOME PREPARATION, PLEASE. PLEASE SOME SORT OF COACHING IN THE HALF TIME LOCKER ROOM. show me your ability to LEAD. please spank one of your children, enough of the time outs and sitting in the corner.

Re: Wizards @ Cavaliers

I believe LeBron was on Jared Jeffries to start the game and Sasha was on Butler.

I have to agree on Brown though. The Cavs offense is pathetic. I don't see any type of competent system in place. They rely on 1 on 1 play and drive and kick outs for 3's.
There's very little ball movement, player movement or any type of flow. At this point in the season you have to be able to do more than that. I'm tired of watching the 1-4 sets with Lebron dribbling out top and the other 4 Cavs standing along the baseline.
