I wouldn't trade TT for Aldridge straight up let alone attach Cedi.
LMA is not as bad as people make him out to be, but he's a moody fuck. During his whole stint with Spurs he had attitude problems, lack of motivation. Fans accused him of laziness, etc. Buford and Pop could barely control his tantrums and that's a major problem. The main reason they're trading him is probably to clear up space for free agents. That's why Pau opted out and will sign a new team friendly contract. Spurs can sign 2 top free agents or sign 1 and extend their expiring guys. That is if they get rid of 30 millions owed to LMA and Green.
If he is then why would the Spurs trade him?Well, can they play him at the 5? Can he protect the rim at all? We know hes a much better scoring threat than TT.
Is it an upgrade to TT?

I think they want cap relief for a LMA who will most likely mutually leave after next season. If they add Green in and we add Shump, they get the needed cap space to go after a max player. LMA isn't a big lose for them, Pau is opting out to sign a cheap deal with them. TT gives them rebounding and defense.
If they could dump LMA on his own and get a asset in return I think they do it. Spurs have never been a huge free agent player, I don't see them going after two max guys.
He doesn't improve our foot speed and athleticism. Good regular season player but he has stretches where he can't hit wide open shots. I still honestly would trade TT for him (IF Spurs even want TT).
Kyrie
Green
LeBron

Aldridge
That seems like a good team on paper but contenders now all have to ask does this improve our chances of beating GSW? I doubt it does because it doesn't address the question of who can switch on to KD and is it ideal against their small ball.
