Leadership Specialist Tyrod Taylor

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think Tyrod is really going to win some people over this season.

I mean he is trying to win over....5 teams (maybe?). What teams will need QB's next year possibly? Giants? Jax? Titans? Saints? Bucs? (a lot of this depends on retirement, how Bortles/MM/Winston performs).

You don't draft a QB #1 overall for him to sit years and years. He's coming in as our bridge and to show other teams he still has it.

I damn sure hope he wins us all over and other teams. Seems like a decent guy. Hope he performs well and gets a shot somewhere else.

If not, maybe he will love it here so much that he will be Baker's backup? :chuckle:

And if history is any indicator, he's also going to frustrate an equal number of people with his reluctance to attack the middle of the field and/or take risks.

Buffalo was always split on the guy. Maybe he breaks out here, but I caution people to keep realistic expectations.

Having said that, he'll be lightyears better than anything we've had at QB recently. Period.

A conservative passer with a hot reciever core and a no huddle can hurt a defense. Our run blocking sucks balls, but possession passing has same effect, wearing out and frustrating the defense. Keep em on the field, move the chains and eventually we score. If we get behind you bring in Baker to open it up a bit. We will win some games that way. Might not be superbowl time, but we wont be the easy out either.

Its a little quick to say our run blocking sucks balls. Hyde got a whole 1 run. Zietler was out (and Drango does suck balls). Corbett was getting his first action ever. Bitonio was getting his first action ever at LT.

It was a different offense and any talent he had was outside. He already shown desire to hook up with Njoku, and his favorite target Jarvis likes operating in the middle, not to mention Calloway.

We will see, but I think we will se a slightly better than Buffalo Tyrod with the receivers he has here and apparent lack of running game.

We also have a better group of receivers than he had in Buffalo by a substantial margin. He never had anyone near as good as Landry or Gordon.

I’d like to know why he went back in. It’s a meaningless preseason game.

It 100% had to be his call. Dude is a baller, I question it too and the coaches allowing it.

But I respect Tyrod for being a competitor #1. I'm loving this culture, real talk.
