LeBron 2010 Campaign

So I am planning on donating to the LeBron 2010 Campaign and I am wondering what I am donating for? What will the money be going towards? Is it just going to be a single billboard or will it be a few things? If it is a billboard, where will it be located, how much will it cost, what will be on it? I know we already have LeBron2010.com so it already kinda started, but when will the campaigning begin? Will it be at the begininng of the season, or is that too early because it will be forgotten about by the end of the year. Will it be at the end of the year, or will that be too late?

I know Glen knows all the information, but if he doesn't have time to explain it all is there someone else here (mods?) that no exactly what the donation will be for?

Just wondering if there is any info on it at all and when it will all happen.

You are donating to a campaign that is trying to purchase a billboard to display in downtown Cleveland near the Quicken Loans arena.

What will the money be going towards?

The money will be used for marketing needs. This also includes, flyers that need to be printed, bumper stickers that were printed in the past, and ultimately the money will be used to help pay for the billboard itself.

Is it just going to be a single billboard or will it be a few things?

Right now, it's looking like we will have enough money to just buy one. We can however get multiple ads out if we somehow generate over 5k we can possibly have more locations.

If it is a billboard, where will it be located,

I am gunning for the billboard that's off of 90 right by the Ontario exit. Right in front of the Q and Progressive Field.

how much will it cost, what will be on it?

To get a nice location it would cost about 3-5K. This all depends on the sales person to see if I can get a deal. As for what's going to be displayed on the billboard, it's out in the open. I plan on having an open forum/debate on what you guys would like on there.

The goal is to have the banner up July 2010. If we get enough money we may be able to purchase he billboard for a few months to have it during the playoffs. It all really boils down to how much money we have to spend mid season.
