its the truth though, MJ could talk Lebron into going to Charlotte
Shut up, man.

Re: LeBron Free Agency (Rumors, Speculation, Spin, Discussion)

It might be more appealing for Wade and Amare to just go to NY. That'd be so insane for Miami..after so many years of preparation.

Or so many years of tanking/gutting their roster. That's why they and the Knicks don't deserve shit. Such a lame approach to improving your team.

I'm sure folks will conclude LeBron is DEFINITELY leaving if he's delaying his decision until after his camp. Too soon for such conclusions.

Haha spot on

Re: LeBron Free Agency (Rumors, Speculation, Spin, Discussion)

Think about it guys/gals.

If LeBron had not decided yet and it was really between the Cavs and some other team, he would have used these days right before signing day to at least have more scheduled meetings with teams, etc. He would have visited the facilities, etc of some team he was seriously thinking about. He has not done any of that........... At. All.

Read the tea leaves.

Does anyone really think LeBron would be going to the Knicks or Chicago or the Nets, or anywhere else without having visited at length and to hold more meetings other than a silly promotional stunt for a few hours in Cleveland? Would he really decide to leave without more serious talks or discussions, etc? Nope. If he had visited anywhere since teams were allowed to do so, don't you all think someone somewhere would have spotted LeBron and his team? There is no way they could have kept that quiet. LeBron staying where he is was something very easy to keep quiet.

Further; would he have allowed this 3 day camp to go on if he had any notion at all he might leave the Cavs? Nope. He would have cancelled the camp awhile ago if he had any inkling whatsoever that he was leaving. He knew when the camp started and finished.

Remember what LeBron stated after the last game against Boston:

"My team has a plan, and we will be executing that plan."

That one sentence gave me pause at the time. Since that time, the bells started going off for me in a big way. That's one reason I've been so strongly sure he was staying.

Re: LeBron Free Agency (Rumors, Speculation, Spin, Discussion)

Ok kids, enough is enough. A lot of people are coming here looking for info and updates. The last thing they want to do is read through the garbage that has been getting posted in the last couple hours. STOP the attacks on each other and stay on topic...it's very simple. If you can't, you be will be going on a vacation from RCF.
LAST WARNING.

Thanks,
Mod Max

Let's get back on topic now.

Re: LeBron Free Agency (Rumors, Speculation, Spin, Discussion)

So it is true that Bosh doesn't want to come to Cleveland, based upon what W&G has said?

LeBron needs to get on his ass and convince him to come here. Especially if we really have put in an offer for him that Toronto prefers to all other team's offers.

Re: LeBron Free Agency (Rumors, Speculation, Spin, Discussion)

LeBron not deciding until after his camp is Tom Izzo redux.

He'll get asked a bunch of shit, not answer anything, and then after the camp he'll come out and say that he's staying put.

Re: LeBron Free Agency (Rumors, Speculation, Spin, Discussion)

It's important to remember that all of this blathering about guys leaving money on the table is generated from the 24 hr sports news cycle. In reality, guys don't leave 30 or 40 million on the table. I think we are pretty much seeing that play out with Joe Johnson. Sure, winning means a lot. This is business though. This is their big payday.

We disagree a little. The Knicks tried to win for most of the decade, but Isaih ran them into the ground. They were a terrible team, and a 130 million payroll. They had to start shedding some dead weight, just to be able to rebuild. Even if they only get Amar'e, they are still better off today than they were for the rest of the decade.

Miami, OTOH, had Wade, and did the same thing. They tanked, despite having the 3rd best player in the league.

Re: LeBron Free Agency (Rumors, Speculation, Spin, Discussion)

If you guys had to pick two teams who gave the best pitch to Lebron, what teams is it?
