Seriously... the guy has been phoning it in with these ridiculous pseudo-conversation columns for years. I can't believe anyone still reads it. I like the guy and I think he's a writer, but he's clearly just bored at this point in his career.

He got that style from the late Hal Lebovitz, who was the godfather of Cleveland sportswriters.

I find it interesting that among the Cavs that are hanging with LeBron at his camp are two of the guys who Brown never played in the playoffs (and specifically against the Celts) that many thought might have been able to at least contribute something.

Obviously, we also know that Boobie is LeBron's close friend, and appearances last year would indicate that Moon fit in nicely from a team chemistry point of view...but still...it's an interesting thing to me.

Perhaps he should've left Hal's trademark well enough alone. I've read Pluto's stuff since I was a little kid in the early 80s, and the conversations with himself are, to me, becoming more frequent and tiresome every week.
