Deron was initially out drinking Lebron 3 to 1... Lebron had to show him how to erase a 3-1 deficit... That caused DWill to sign with the Cavs...
 
Good. We have a couple games lead, new additions should allow him more in game rest also going forward

LeBron is doing some historic things this season.

He's shooting 54% this season in his 14th season.

Players to shoot 54%+ and have a usage % of 25%+ in their 14th seasons or further:

  • Kareem, 15th season, 57.8% FG
  • Kareem, 17th season, 56.4% FG
  • LeBron, 14th season, 54% FG
If you remove the usage requirement, 54% FG in a player's 14th+ season has only been done 22 times (Kareem 5 times, Gilmore 4 times, Tyson Chandler 3 times, Parish 2 times, Dikembe, Shaq, Wilt, Mourning, and a few others: IN ALL, they took 31 threes and not too many jumpers). Look at those names: all bigs making their living close to the rim. The fact that LeBron is shooting what he is while shooting threes p, jumpers, etc., is incredible.

Ok, let's change the numbers a bit. Players to shoot 50%+ on 27%+ usage in their 14th seasons or further in:

  • LeBron, 14th season, 54% FG
  • K. Malone, 15th season, 50.9% FG
  • Tim Duncan, 16th season, 50.2% FG
I know he is younger than all others on these lists because he didn't play in college, but the mileage he's racked up makes up for that. This really shouldn't be happening yet it is. Incredible.

I can't figure out how we are going to give up 120 to Chicago on our court. That's a problem Lue needs to address.

Well, tonight does help LeBron's MVP case. So I guess there's that.
