LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
"Our defense is pretty bad right now... guys are just scoring at will on us...our transition defense is pretty bad... I mean I think everything defensively...pretty bad defensively. We've regressed as far as our defense so far."

He admitted he hasn't taken the challenge one on one, he hasn't defended, personally. Transition, communication, not able to sustain.

"What month is this? October? I'm not about to get crazy over it right now... it's too long of a season... I've been a part of this way too many times, so... I'm the wrong guy to ask, I'm too positive right now."

Pretty much saying the team just needs a win and they'll start feeling better about themselves.

Asked about this being the 14th anniversary of his pro debut, he said he played better 14 years ago then he did tonight.

Yep. Found his careless comments last night pretty weird.

He literally doesn't give a fuck, and is already gone. Just going to coast it this year.

Like I said, I WISH we didn't have a no-trade clause on him.

I'm not fucking bitter, either. He's a great player.

One, we clearly aren't that good.

Two, he's clearly leaving.

Just would love to get some value for him. But that's not happening.
How do you figure this means he's leaving?

Lebron is an ink blot test for your own inner opinion. Me, I see nothing indicating he wants to leave at this time. But he acknowledges he and the team are playing like shit, and he seems sure they will play better. Beyond that show me one time where Lebron infers he is leaving in the slightest way?

LeBron - If this is your idea of a Halloween party then i admit that as a Cavs fan i am very scared !!!

If this is the case, let Cedi, Zizic, London Perrantes, and Holland play minutes and develop till this team or LeBron decides it's time to actually start playing basketball.

Maybe they can keep us in games against these bad teams for 3 quarters and LeBron & the old guys only have to give 8 minutes of effort to close the games out.

That's exactly the point. If this part of the season doesn't matter, then why not give significant minutes to the young guys? What's the freaking downside?

Zizic was literally in dress clothes tonight, against a team with one very good and another decent big.

The idea of trading LeBron has been brought up a couple times. If the team is still struggling in January when Thomas comes back (or if he doesn't), Koby should approach LeBron about a deal. It's really a win-win at that point. LeBron's not going to be re-signing. The blame for the trade falls on the Cavs (LeBron can always say they came to him for the trade) so his image doesn't take a massive hit. And the Cavs would get assets to jumpstart a rebuild. Maybe he'd consider a half season with the Rockets, Thunder or Wizards.

LeBron is playing like he's already packed his bags and is doing everything he can to sabotage Gilbert's team before he leaves.
Well if that's the case his nutass can enjoy getting sonned by Lavar Ball and dicked by the Warriors

They haven't paid their union dues yet.

So they don't have their "whiskers" yet. Great. The Cavs have become the basketball version of GM's "jobs bank." Pay guys to do nothing.

I wish Koby or Gilbert would approach Lue and suggest this. Basically say we will get something productive out of this team. Play the young guys and when the vet players shows effort in limited minutes they can have their normal amount of minutes back. No ones job is secure. Cedi, Zizic, London Perrantes, or Holland will get their chances and if they show out, then someone loses their rotation spot.

What happened to #SavageMode?

John Holland really can't be considered a future piece . He's older than Jae and Iman and only about a month younger than Rose.

It's annoying that we'd waste developmental spot on someone like him.

I really really hope Lebron is just playing mind games with Gilbert again. This doesn’t look good.
