LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
His defensive effort is so invisible that if he just sat down at the half court line he’d have the exact same impact. I am so disappointed that he’s pulling this. It’s unprofessional and unbecoming of someone that wants to be known as the GOAT. Wish he would be called out publicly at this point.

There’s chill mode, and then there’s “frozen in a block of ice” mode in terms of effort, and that’s where LeBron’s at right now.
I don’t think Cavs fans would turn around the rescue boat for him right now ?? Even if he was blowing the whistle...

Sorry, Jack, but we let go !!!

IT3 is showing better leadership now. he has to be careful at this point because after what Barkley said and he continuous to act like that this "Drama Queen" tag will stay on him forever.

Of course he's all smiles hi-fiving with Melo and George after the game

I don't know what is more pathetic, his defense or high fives with smile on his face with PG13 and Melo. It's a fucking historical blowout you dumbfuck!

He has this city/team by the balls again. Start selling of the pieces so we are stuck with the useless team we he leaves again.

that was awful and really bothered me

That's James' personality, though, and always has been. He's never been wired to be as competitive or as intense as guys like MJ or Kobe, or heck even Westbrook. He's a people-loving, smiley extrovert. If you're expecting anything different, you're always going to be disappointed.

I don't mind this side of him to be honest. It's the passive-agressiveness that irks me.

Annoying as fuck.

Agree. I think that's the worst aspect of his personality.

Magic Johnson was also a smiley guy, but did he ever have the passive-aggressiveness of James?

Magic and these other guys did not live in the Social Media, camera in your face literally every minute of your life stuff either. They didn't grow up being on ESPN at 16. I have a really hard time believing people would look at MJ the same if they knew some of the shit he was doing behind the scenes.

LeBron gets a pass for some of his actions due to the insanity that was his life. On the whole, he seems like a pretty good guy to me. I don't like his passive aggressive nature as much as the next person, but hey, he isn't punching out his own teammates, knocking up rando's or being an absentee parent like a LOT of professional athletes are, regardless of sport.

I wish tonight he would've showed more effort, but I agree with a lot of posters on here. I think the team really knows a change HAS to be made to compete at a high level.

I said this long ago, but Cavs are best used post Kyrie Irving is LeBron being Magic Johnson with shooters/defenders and a rim protector.

With one of those shooters/defenders being a guard that can defend point guards, a la George Hill, Avery Bradley type.

I would seriously trade Love and Brooklyn's pick for Paul George right now. But it'll never happen.

LeBron is at the stage where he just won't play swarming defense. Blame age, wear and tear, ego, etc.

Cavs still have time to fix this.

This is a good post, but just about our entire roster would have to be overhauled to fit this model. Outside of Lebron we are a bunch of jump shooters, some senior citizens, and no good defenders at all. Green and Wade come closest to being real two-way players, and they are bench guys really. IT is a good scoring PG but can't defend, and if you keep him then you are going to play Lebron off the ball rather than being Magic Johnson.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are going through a rough patch and LeBron James on the defensive end certainly isn't helping their problems. LeBron is currently ranked dead last in the NBA on player defensive ratings (minimum 30mins). 435th in league for total mins.
