It’s funny. Kobe and MJ have the “OBSESSION” narrative thing going on. Their “WORK ETHIC” and “OBSESSION” with the game is unparalleled or whatever. I’d argue LeBron is right there with them. He puts more $ into his body than anyone. He watches other NBA teams on NBA league Pass for advanced scouting in his down time. He’s worked one-on-one with the Legends of the game. He pays top level coaches in the off-season. How does he not get tired of it? A truly lazy day for LBJ is playing NBA 2K and probably taking it seriously seeing how his teammates fit together! While MJ was racking up gambling debts and banging escorts.

We all know the dozens and dozens of stories about Kobe and MJ spending countless hours in the empty gym at 4am...doing what? Shooting jump shots basically. One obsession gets articles written about you and is ultimately self-serving. The other elevates a team. I’m glad we have the right one.

It’s too bad this guy never did the dunk contest. I remember watching him win the Gatorade dunk contest in HS.

Yea it's the lamest thing about LeBron's career. A dude with that kind of vertical never participating in a dunk contest is a travesty.

I feel the exact opposite. The dunk contest itself has been lame since Vince Carter. They should have retired the dunk contest after that. Ever since, it's basically a lame X Games sport.
