LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
LeBron is already Top-15 all-time in career minutes played. You can't do it forever.

He'll be fine. I'm sure he'll keep adjusting his game as time goes on.

He really should be spending less time with the ball in his hands and play nearer the basket.. but I'm not sure this is possible with this roster.

When shooters aren't hitting shots it makes it much harder for LeBron to turn corners or get to the rim. He did lack energy and motivation. Normally that wouldn't be an issue for LeBron. At this point he's just going through the motions. There's an obvious difference in his mindset this season. Cavs will go as far as he drags them but I don't think it will be far. The writing is clearly on the wall. I just hope LeBron is willing to fight out of the first round.

He will, losing in the 1st would tarnish his legacy. What I don't know if he will have the legs for it. We really will only know during the game.

Btw, his numbers are very misleading. He absolutely did not impact the game as they suggest. It's incredible how naturally he grabs stats even when not doing much.

Sure he did, the other guys just didn't hit shots. Plenty of great looks all night, many thanks to Bron.

He will come out aggressive in game 2, and things will be a lot different if guys make a few shots.

He didn't attempt a shot for like the first 8 minutes or something today, and then had 13 points in the next 5 minutes or so when we went on the run at the start of the 2nd quarter/end of 1st.

Blaming the loss on LeBron is pretty silly, almost everyone played like shit today.

Lebron hasn't learned anything losing to GS. He went on an MVP run instead of trying to building good winning habits.

Gs built a culture of defene and sharing the ball. Lebron builds a culture dependant on him

Some games he’ll get a triple double and dominate the ball and after the game he looks totally fresh. Other times he looks gassed in the 3rd. I guess pace is a real thing, no matter what the final score is.

Lebron wanted to play off of our guys at first and get a feel for what he can expect from his teammates in a playoff setting. Can’t always be in “Lebron save us” mode. If we are going to go far, our guys need to be ready to step up. I have no doubt he’ll come out more aggressive and play better next game.

That being said...

Im a bit concerned, Lebron finished with a statline that should’ve been good enough to win the game, he could’ve been better (and he will) but others need to step up. If Lebron has to bring his A game to get wins in the 1st round...I don’t like our chances going forward.

A championship caliber team should be good enough to win a game at home in the 1st round (at the very least not get blown out) with the production we got from Lebron today.

Lebron cannot do it all by himself. He needs other guys to step up. This isn't 2007 any more with an infinitely athletic, infinitely energetic Lebron. And even 2007 was a bit of a fluke year, which Lebron was unable to repeat as a lone ranger without a very good supporting cast. What I'm afraid of is that this team outside of Lebron is just plain Not. That. Good.

We lost a top 15 NBA player and we didn't come vaguely close to replacing him. We picked up a pretty solid role player in Nance, who is kind of a replacement for the old TT, and a bunch of other guys who are totally unproven and in this game at least did not appear capable of stepping up their game to compete with a good team in a situation of playoff intensity. And of course the coaching ain't helping.

This whole team is built around his strengths. If he's not going to assertive himself and at least be aggressive when he's out there then we're fucked.

Lebron's strengths include his strengths at getting open shots for others and improving the efficiency of other people. That as much as anything is what this team is supposed to be built around, not Lebron going ISO and singlehandedly dominating the offense for 40 straight minutes. We all know that won't work. And people failed to hit shots today, or even get free and take them. 2-18 from 3 combined from Hill, Green, Hood, Clarkson, Calderon, and Korver ain't gonna cut it. Those six players scoring only 22 points between them ain't gonna cut it. Kevin Love scoring nine points ain't gonna cut it.

Lol at these clowns on tnt saying Lebron's not a top 5 all time one on one scorer. Jordan, Kobe, Harden, Gervin, and KD are ahead of him.

Well, Harden is the greatest one-on-one foul drawer of all time, so...

We will go as far as Lebron drags us, that much we know. Does he have motivation in him to do that? Knowing when he will face a super team ala warriors we got no chance? Next game will tell us everything. His response shall be 40 point game. We need Lebron to be Lebron.
