LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Will Bron let him?... Also how good is LeBron going to be off the ball?... Because my guess is Simmons is going to struggle off the ball... Personally I'd like to see us comeback win this f****** series and make some noise here in these playoffs.... Then see how the lottery balls bounce and go from there

If KD can do it, LeBron most certainly can. He'll have to buy in before Philly entertains him though, and he would imo.

In fact, every contending team like Houston will demand he buy in.. except maybe a team like Milwaukee where it's similar to here.

Kobe doesn't belong in the same breath as LeBron. Dude was overrated as fuck. Chill.

Haven't you heard? Every Lakers great is ahead of LeBron, not to mention Durant, Curry, Bird, and Duncan. Hell, Kyrie has basically caught up to him. /s

It's scary how much Lakers and MJ stans screech like hyenas when Bron is in a tough spot.

Since when did KD ever control every aspect of the offense the way Lebron does? Everyone blames Lue for the way our offense runs but the fact is it's completely controlled by Lebron, and Lebron will have it no other way at least while he's still a prime time player. KD never took total control that way, he's always had Westbrook or Curry to lead and run the show while he just does his thing.

LeBron can play any type of way in any system. People are oblivious to his game if one thinks any other way. I hope he stays in Cleveland and at the least obliterate all regular season records and possibly win another title or two. I believe this year will be the end of the isolation systems. It' time for the Cavs to hire an experienced coach that demands a ball moving system.

I wonder how much of a role getting paid the full max means to LeBron, because I'm pretty sure he couldn't get it anywhere else unless he does what CP3 did when he got moved to. Houston, his bird rights went with him. Outside of Capela, I'd want nothing from the Rockets in a sign and trade.

Well, Capela and, if Koby can scour the CBA to find if some form of the Aaron McKie/Doc Rivers loophole still exists, so we can trade Lue for Pringles as part of the deal. Bring a new meaning to trading a weak link on our team for a bag, or other container, of chips.

After all, Lue is LeBron's guy, and he'll want him there...right? Right? :chuckle: And we can sell Morey on how Lue "won" a championship for Moneyball's childhood team.

LeBron is elite off the ball.

He was unstoppable when he played off the ball in Miami. We rekt the Raptors by having Delly run PnRs with LeBron as the screener. The issue is we simply never had a good passer who could utilize LeBron off the ball. Simmons would.

LeBron and Simmons would kill it together. Bron bought into the system in Miami. Right now we just have no system at all.

How come the Cavs never had a go passer ?

^ This. There can't by any questions about ability. LeBron has one of the highest basketball IQs of all time, he knows exactly how to play any role in the game of basketball.

"Can" is different from "will". People place the blame at Lue's feet because this team doesn't run a motion offense or sets the way some other teams do.

But the fact that people seem to ignore is, we have run those things at times, and those things are called at other times and abandoned or ignored. The reality is, and the fact is, that Lebron feels we will be more successful if he just "creates" offense on the fly using his skills. And with a player like Lebron, no head coach in the league is going to change his mindset. The only thing that would change this reality is if Lebron has talent on the floor that he feels is comparable to his talent and BBIQ. And that doesn't exist on this roster.

To be fair Lebron is just trying to give himself what he feels is the best chance to win. With the vast majority (if not all) of other head coaches and rosters, Lebron is going to believe that he himself "creating" the offense on the fly will be better than him being a cog in a Brad Stevens type system. People thinking Lebron would just blend into such a system is a pipe dream, while he is playing at his current level. When he starts to decline, perhaps that will change. But no way in hell it happens now.

If he were to go to Philly there would be no real system, but Lebron would "take turns" creating offense with Simmons, the same way he "took turns" with Kyrie when he was here. No system, just set the floor and let the play makers create.

Yeah I don't know why people act like he ran anything other than Iso/kickout to open 3 "offense" in Miami. And that was with a good coach in Spoelstra. Bosh was also relegated to just being a 3 point shooter like Love. You won't get anything different with LeBron James on the team.

His Heat teams did have better defense than the Cavs but I wouldn't say they were better. They just happened to play teams much worse than the Warriors. Well, besides the 2013 Spurs who destroyed them.

This is just wrong. Spo one hundred percent ran a system in Miami. And LeBron benefitted from it with his most efficient years ever. Whether they were actually better than the Cavs is another issue altogether. But the Heat had an offensive system which consistently generated good looks.

Im just not sure Lebron would want to raise his kids in the dump that is Philly. I still say something is brewing in LA with Kawaii, George, and Lebron.

another lie...bosh was never used in the same way like love plays right now with the cavs. Bosh was mainly midrange pick and pops, face up blow by drives, pick and rolls-dives and post ups with occasional 3's.
