LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The only way we are giving up Sexton is if Miles Bridges is coming back the other way. If not there is no way they are dealing Sexton for a year of Kemba.
BW is throwing darts.

Would you make the trade with Miles coming back?

I'm not a big fan of Kemba, and even less of a fan of Miles, but any trade that keeps LeBron in Cleveland is a good trade.

I would be more inclined to make it but rather keep Sexton. I don’t want to trade any of our young talent for a one year guy

Miles would be coming in as a replacement as well.

I'd have to think about that,,I'm not sure I would,,,You?
I like Sexton more than most and I'm not that high on MB. Have to see the whole package i guess.

Initially I wasn't thrilled with the pick. But now that he is a Cavalier, I have developed some sort of an attachment to him. Hearing him talk and how grateful he is to be selected by the Cavaliers, the fact that he wants to be here and appreciates the opportunity...and other than that, I love his drive and mentality, and obviously, I think he can be a good player.

He wasn't my 1st selection and I truly believe we could have traded back and got more assets, but I'm way over that.

Even if I originally had Miles above Sexton, I can no longer trade for him if it makes sense. It's like, I have accepted the selection and can not turn back.

So yeah, it would be incredibly difficult for me to trade Sexton. I appreciate every player that really wants to be a part of Cleveland. it's my emotional side.

Other than that, like @Nathan S said, i'm not a big Kemba fan, and i'm certainly not going to be a fan of his contract in a year. Do not want him.

I got this feeling that the sole reason LeBron would leave is because of politics. We already know he refuses to refer to Trump by his name, so the ire is already strong. Then the fact Gilbert openly supports Trump just adds fuel to their already fractured relationship. If it were not for signing a 2 year deal prior to Trump's election, he would have probably left last year in my opinion. Then of course you got his preferred rumored destination of Cali/LA, which is pretty much as liberal of a state that you can get.

Just a hunch, and hope I'm totally wrong... Anyone else see this is a huge issue or am I just overthinking it?

You're overthinking it.

If he leaves because of politics. I hope he leaves... 50% of his fan base is conservative these people need to get a grip on reality...

Agreed. Can’t blame this on trump
End of the day I think lbj and his wife would prefer bronny finish 8 grade where he is. There is really no clear destination for him this year anyway

He will come back for the year. I am all for getting kemba but not at the expense of Sexton. Lbj will come back but it will be one year only.

I have to say the Sheridan things is really bothering me. I want to believe some folks that say he guessed but I hung on his coverage that last time and that was not a guess. Even some of the info on the Lebron / Riley meeting was correct about it being shorter than expected, etc. I think it is a source really tight inside the circle. HOWEVER, if we all know how dialed in he was, certainly Lebron knows that too and they could use him as a pawn in the drama? That is what I am hoping for because otherwise, he is pretty darn confident again.

Gilbert is a billionaire. Most billionaires outside of the Koch brothers and George soros don’t really chose sides.

And Gilbert doesn’t openly support trump or the Republican Party. He may have visited with him but that’s not the same as supporting him publicly.

Agreed if he comes back now it is 1 year and not the super max I thought he might originally do. Still think Philly is sneaky option. I have been saying LA or Clev all along but some rumblings this weekend about Philly and this could allow for kids to stay home since Philly is close enough to consider that.

Kemba
Batum
Lebron
Love
Nance
Zizic
Hood
Bridges
Cedi
Hill

Good enough for Lebron for a year? Clarkson,JR,Korver and TT get booted off the island. Still no real Robin though. Maybe Kemba/Love together=a Robin? Don't start on the money. Gilbert will eat that Batum shit sandwich and enjoy it when Lebron demands it.

Lebron is hard to please, but the ducks aren't lining up for a easy move away from Cleveland. PG is helping us by not going to the Lakers big time.
