LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If Davis pushes to get moved by the deadline, which I don't think happens, Boston could put together a killer deal. Tatum, Brown, and Rozier is basically the core that pushed Boston to the eastern conference finals.
Boston cannot trade for AD until the summer time because of the Rose Rule. The Lakers know that if this drags out until then, their chances of landing him diminish dramatically.

I do agree though that LeBron and Magic are getting desperate. I really think they convinced themselves and the LA fanbase that stars would flock there after LeBron committed long-term. Trading for Davis is their killshot. If they miss, then all bets are off.

I know you want Lebron to win and i respect that but i miss the days when superstars just stayed with the team that drafted them. This kind of stuff was unheard of back in the day and the Nba was much, much better. This is so unfair to AD and the NO fans. Its a shame but its the new Nba.

Pretty much where I stand. Look. I don't care if LB wants him. I get it, he's a great player and would help the Lakers.

But I just don't think winning a champion means as much as anymore in this era. If all the best players are on one team, and winning it all.. That's not an accomplishment.

Everything the Warriors has done is shit. I'm not trying to be a complainer or feel salty, but it is. You got two of the top-5 players on one team. That's not competition at all!

Imagine if Bird and Magic just teamed up and massacred everyone ever year. Would that be a great accomplishment? No..

There's no competition. Winning without competition is stupid.

It's like me going out on the court and beating a 7 year old in one on one. And celebrating it, because hey, I won! Even though it wasn't close to a fair playing field.

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron Jameswas critical of NFL owners during the latest episode of HBO's "The Shop" on Friday night, saying they have a "slave mentality."

"In the NFL they got a bunch of old white men owning teams, and they got that slave mentality," James said during the episode. "And it's like, 'This is my team. You do what the f--- I tell y'all to do or we get rid of y'all.'

This is a loaded statement but couple of things and I'm done:

- The setup of players running the league is currently ruining the NBA
- I hated this argument when they made it about Dan Gilbert, and it's equally dumb now.
- it's not a winning argument, sympathy doesn't run all that high for multi-millionaire althelets
- it's needlessly divisive and demeaning
- his shoes are made by people much closer to slaves than Todd Gurley

Yet all the media still hyping KD and GS because thats their job and people are brainwashed by media.
AD saying he cares about legacy more than money. AD going to dinner with Lebron. AD going to lakers soon.
NBA is a wash, but hopefully the lakers sign more stars and beat GS.

I get what your saying but people forgot how diluted the NBA came with expansion: the Lakers during their run 80's run had FOUR #1 overall picks playing significant minutes on their roster. The Celts had two #1's and a #3. Teams were stacked.

I don't think this era is that much different except the one time salary bump made the Durant move possible.

I don't disagree. I feel its so wrong when literally the best players in the league are all playing together. Davis, LB, Curry, and Durant are all top-5 players.

That's just so wrong if literally they're all on two teams tops.

There's always been better teams, and elite teams. This just gets absurd to me though when the best players in the league are all on two teams.

No one stands a chance against that.

This doesn't take away from LB's greatness. I still think he's the GOAT. I like to recognize performance far more than titles. Titles is a team thing.

No one in any sport has ever won them alone.

I just wish this era would understand that and stop ring chasing. It just looks like such a bitch move.

Would love to see LeBron and AD play together. Would blow Kobe & Shaq out of the water and I can finally stop listening to Lakers fans call Kobe a top-2 player of all time when those two guys dominate the west.

LBJ & AD would be the best wing and big man combo in the history of basketball, bar none. Would be a lot of fun to watch.
