LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
On the Lakers board, this guy seems to have some credibility. Read his timeline as all this stuff went down today, he seems to have some interesting tweets providing behind the scenes info on how Magic was forced out and how Pelinka needs to lawyer up.

Not commenting on this guys credibility, but holy shit what a homer. He has a glowing positive spin on... everything Lakers (going forward).. including the roster as currently constructed, as if it's some sort of a good thing. That was cringeworthy to read.

What a great day to be a Cavs fan!

We finish tied for the 2nd worst record in the league.

AND!

Things are completely falling apart in LA Laker Land... Hell yes!

That's what that guy's twitter account is claiming, the NBA is being gracious and protecting by allowing Magic to "quit" the position. The stuff that went on behind the scenes according to the NBA's investigation with Magic/Pelinka/Klutch/LeBron was apparently so blatant and open that no team wants to deal with LA and we saw that go down with the AD deadline fiasco. I heard late last night that LeBron said it was "crazy" what went down. We know LeBron, he had to know what was going down that day with Magic, as well as Pelinka, Jeannie and Klutch. We'll see what happens with Pelinka as that lawyer's twitter account is claiming Pelinka's battle is next, the Lakers don't want to pay his massive buyout, but if evidence is there he openly colluded, Jeannie might take him to court to get rid of him without having to pay his buyout. One thing is for sure, LeBron will likely be portrayed as innocent amidst this chaos as he always is.

This makes no sense so the nba has clear evidence of cullosion which we all know. But somehow they’ll punish magic/Pelinka but Lebron and klutch get nothing. Where is there punishment of course as a player Lebron can’t get any but the agency should be dealt with heavily.

I’m not buying it.

Ps. Magic is KD level snake with that interview, I have no respect for him.

Says Randle would have been a UFA if desired. Um no he was a RFA that LA turned unrestricted for no reason.

Says DLo would haven been lost to the highest bidder. In what world does A team let a good player go without matching let alone a big market team.

That tweeting guy is a tool and ultimately a Lakers mark trying to spin this as a positive. The damage is done.

That roster is bad. “Young and good” is the enemy of “experienced and great.” A few of those “young and good” players the Lakers have could eventually be rotation players on a championship team. But without the super duper stars, they’re worthless in a competing sense.

AD will probably end up in LAL after next season because he’s taking orders from his agent who we know strongarms guys into doing what he wants. Plus AD is now in LeBron’s orbit being part of space jam. They share a damn agent.

The beauty is LeBron will be like 36 when AD teams up. They won’t be competing for anything.

Rich Paul is the snake, not Magic.

Magic is the puppet.

Watching Dirk's retirement last night, part of me was sad because Lebron could have had that kind of love and rootedness in a city, but he threw it away by leaving for LA in pursuit of god knows what. It really tarnishes his career and makes him a more shallow figure than he could have been. His retirement ceremony is just going to be a corporate production from ESPN and Lebron, Inc. not a genuine expression of love from a city.

I don't want to have a retirement ceremony for him.

He destroyed his relationship with CLE the first time he left. Thanks for the Championship, but we don't owe this guy anything. He's made it clear, more than once, that this city and team aren't good enough for him. He can go fuck himself, and I hope he rots in LA without winning anything.

The NBA already punished Lebron and the Fakers.
Wait for it...Pelicans ex-gm Demps and Popovich exploited the Fakers..:alc::disdain (29)::clap::fight (7)::git:

I really think the best path forward for the Lakers is to clean house and Jeanie Buss should trade LeBron before bring in a new GM. Give the new GM a clean slate and not feel the need to use every asset to try to win a championship in LeBron's limited window.

Really their current roster and assets just won't give them the ammo to really make the necessary moves to get a good enough group around LeBron. Even if they win the lottery or jump up, I'm not sure it's worth it to give up Zion or Morant for AD. It just gives so much power to LeBron and Rich Paul if their second star is a another Klutch client.

I'm actually kinda relieved he left after seeing how his season in LA went. We finally don't have shit show surrounding the team on a daily basis and once Kevin came back they actually paid VERY hard often to point of me trying to rip out my hair since I wanted a top 3 slot in the draft. I thank LBJ for the chip but he asked for all this, and what for? Some irrelevant, corny ass space jams which my 2 year olds don't even know exist. It couldn't have gotten worst for him. He made a terrible decision and will regard it for the rest of his life.

Meanwhile back home?

Again. This is kinda bizarre. Didn't expect a team of Kevin Love and gang to come together like that. Hell I was confused/worried why Love wanted to stick around after this mess, but damn he and the gang earned my respect.

Sure didn't feel like this team is represented by it's record. (Which I'm actually very pleased with. This teams need some more young talent)

Lakers are a depressing mess, Cavs are trying to get better every day.

What an amazing season from the day Lue was gone until now. It looked like we would have a complete disaster on our hands while wacthing LeBron make the playoffs in LA. Instead, we end up with max ping pong balls, the team was entertaining down the stretch, Collin came on like gangbusters and we had a great celebration of Channing's career with some genuine joy from the team. Oh, and LeBron missed the playoffs and Magic quit.

Who would have thought in October that we'd all be happy in April?

Agreed. It's going to be great next year if we squeak into the playoffs, and LA doesn't make it.

"Young and Good" is fine if you're a franchise that has been in the top half of the lottery for the last couple of seasons and clearly have a few emerging stars. Someone like say, Golden State or the 76ers.

It was also good for the Cavs to a certain extent because it allowed them to have assets to move (Bennett, Waiters, Wiggins) while at the same granted them young talent that was very much a part of the 2016 title winning roster (Thompson, Kyrie)

There is..none of that with the Lakers. In fact I dare say I get vibes off of our rosters during the mid to late 2000s with that team..except a bit worse.
