Lets clarify our priorities...

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Some dumb team will probably give jerome some mle money, [knicks]. I wouldn't give jerome james anything more than vet minimum.

Sign Jasikevicius and bring back Tractor and I'll be thrilled with our offseason. I'd also take Diop back a the league minimum. I'm fine either way if we end up with Haslem or Drew as our PF.

That'd be a great off-season

C- Ilgauskas- Tractor- Diop
PF- Gooden/Haslem- Varejao
SF- LeBron- Jackson- Newble
SG- Hughes- Pavlovic
PG- Sarunas- Snow

Just throw weight around and stuff he would be a good fit..I'd love to see em play.

We wouldn't need him to be Shaquille O'Neal, we'd just need him to play tough physical defense, rebound, and get the clean-up points.

The guy is a complete STIFF.

Jerome James is awful and has a worse attitude. Diop has caused us enough pain already. Even when he was sitting on the bench I was uncomfortable with the thought that he might actually get on the court (shudders). Robert Traylor will not be back. We pissed him off by not taking up his option, so he'll look elsewhere and not have a problem finding another team.

We have two major priorities left.

1. Signing the point guard as disccused : Saraunas
2. Sign a backup center : Dale Davis / Cliff Robinson, Vitaly Potapenko are examples.

2 minor things to look at :

1. Filling out the roster : 1 or 2 from summer league. (Gilchrist)
2. Looking at upgrading the power forward position. Not very important this summer.

this is excatly what our agenda needs to be. i will take any 3 of the vet centers you have listed there. people listing diop to come back  . might as well bring back scott williams.. haslem should not even be a priority this off season or moving drew unless we get an incredible offer on the table.. also we might not have the need for him but besides gilchrist is anyone interested in jawad williams for an injury replacment. slaher/scorer from cleveland that could be stashed on ir?

I think our top priority right now is signing a 3-point shooting Point Guard. Sarunas fits the bill nicely. Although I do think that barring any hand injuries, Larry Hughes is a credible 3-point threat, we can't count on him alone to spread the floor. (LBJ's improving 3 point shooting is not a factor that will spread the floor and stop other teams from double-teaming him and Z). We need to have a deadshot PG to make our offense even more unstoppable.. And Karma is right, there is no need to upgrade the PF spot this year. Maybe next year when Drew's contract is up (or is it? I'm not too sure..)

well coming into the offseason the Cavs had 27 mil to reshape the roster.

Hughes 1st year 12 mil leaves 15

Z believed to be around 9 mil 1st year leaves 6 mil

if the sing Sarunas at around 3 mil per that leaves 3 mil in the pot

now you have to find a back up big man who will sign for that. Tractor would have only cost 1.75 mil

Ditto on all points.

If we don't get add a three point threat to this team we have a major weakness that will be exploited, especially against sound defensive teams like Detroit.
