Now that I know I'm not going to keel over and my headaches have been curbed a bit I've decided, with a group of friends, to make and place little libraries across northeast Ohio. Little libraries are exactly what they sound like. In addition to that we're going to make and place little pantries around northeast Ohio. The pantries will include non-perishable food items, hygiene items and other sundries. In addition, the little pantries I'll be stewarding will include fresh bread from a local bakery who has kindly offered to stock them.
If everything goes according to plan we'll build a few coat exchange boxes as well. A place where those who need a warm coat for the fall and winter months can find one and a place where others can drop off lightly worn coats for others to wear.
So, here's where you come in. If you have books or coats to donate let me know! It's going to be about a month or two before we are ready to go but when we have the boxes ready we'll need everything we can get our hands on.
If you know of a person that would be willing to place a little library or pantry we're in need of that as well. It can be in front of a business or a home. We'll provide everything needed to install it.
And finally, we're taking donations on this site to help build as many boxes as we can. Last time I gave away a Nance Sr. jersey, this time I'll be giving away a signed Darius Garland jersey to one lucky person who donates any amount. In addition to that, if you donate $50.00 or more I'll send you a piece of Cavs memorabilia from my vast collection.
